Decades of experience and this is the best
I love these products! I have purchased toy food for my oldest kids ages 19 and 21 down to my youngest son age 3. I am astonished at the quality and realism of today's toy foods. This set is plastic, but I must say, it is a solid thick plastic that does not bend, crease, or fold. I have purchased many other learning resource sets on account of this top quality. I like too, that the foods are healthy choices and easily recognizable. My son knows the tomato, carrots, and chicken. He is learning what the asparagus and salmon is, but that is great. I find this an excellent way to introduce other foods to my child he might not ever have in our home. The bowl is high quality as well. I have put it my dishwasher (top rack) after he used it with real food. The basket is a solid construction. I am using it for other purposes around the house! You cannot go wrong.

Realistic Food With Cool Texture
These are high quality play foods, not like the flimsy thin plastic foods you can buy elsewhere. Some of the pieces, like the chicken, even have a cool texture that makes them feel realistic. These won't be damaged easily and will last a long time!

I have purchased several of these food sets and they are the best. So well made. Not cheap plastic like most. Everything from Learning Resources has been great.

Very sturdy play food
Absolutely love this food! It’s thick and made of a sturdy material, so it kids can fling it all around while playing and nothing will happen to it. The food is very realistic and my kids absolutely love it.

Second-favorite Food Set.
This is my second-favorite of the sets we purchased, and a lot of that has to do with the fun salad. The play food in these sets are solid and so far have been durable. The colors are bight and fun. At first, I didn't know what the sweet potato was. The attention to detail in the carrot chips, lettuce, and tomatoes was endearing.

Great job again Learning Resources!
This is my second set of the New Sprouts food and I am just so impressed by the quality and realness of the food. Perfect for toddlers especially ones that like to chew and bite toys. They seem to hold up compared to the cheap plastic food I've had in the past. I would recommend this product! Picture shows Healthy Dinner set and the Munch It! set.

Glad I bought this set. All the pieces are high quality and perfectly sized for little hands. Learning Resources makes the best play food! Worth every penny. So far I have spent about $100 on Learning Resources play food and other LR products. I plan to buy more because you really do get what you pay for. Set includes: 1 basket 1 chicken breast 1 salmon fillet 1 bundle of asparagus 1 baked sweet potato 1 tomato slice 1 cucumber slice 3 carrot slices 3 pieces of lettuce 1 bowl

Great Quality Play Food
I’ve boughten a couple of the Learning Resources play food sets now. I love that the food is made out of a thicker rubber-like plastic. Most play foods are made out of the cheaper, thin plastics and get ruined quicker. I hear will last a lifetime! My kids and students love them too!

Awesome food set!
this set of healthy food is fantastic! My son loves to play with it in his kitchen. I wish that perhaps the carrot slices were a bit bigger so they can't go in a baby's mouth but I just will have to really watch my baby when she starts to crawl. Very good quality and event the basket is great!
