A great learning toy
This is a winner!! The clock has several commendable features. The digital readout in syncronized with the position of the analog hands. The minute markers match the color of the minute hand, and the hour hand is red as are the numbers on the face. The digits on the readout are also color coded the same way. The hands can be turned either clockwise or counterclockwise. There's a sliding panel to conceal the digital readout when needed. Finally, it's fairly durable, and it doesn't need batteries!!

Learning To Tell Time... Must Have!
I bought this for my son to reinforce telling time. It has little windows at the bottom that open and close that tell you the hour, the minutes, and the time of day of what is on the face of the clock. Great to quiz with. I was happy to see how large it was and my son said it was the same as his teachers. I bought it at a great price and I wasn't sure if it was going to be cheaply made and it wasn't. Super buy and worth more then what I paid.

Could've been better
I am also unimpressed with this clock, as was one of the other reviewers. As they stated, the hand covers the number, adding another level of frustration for very young learners who haven't already memorized the clock face yet. My other disappointment is that the "digital" readout on the bottom isn't meshed well. When the clock stops at the top of the hour, the numbers are between 59 and 60 so it looks like it is saying 96 in the minutes window. It doesn't line up well. It's sturdy, and you can spin from the knob in the back or from the hour hand itself, and there's also a kickstand in back like a picture frame so you can pull that out and have this sitting without any concerns of it falling over. Also wished they had actually put the numbers for ALL the minutes on the periphery, rather than just 5, 10, 15, etc..

Works as described
Easy to turn dial to change analog hands. Digital numbers match analog clock time exactly. Doors cover digital numbers, easy slide open and closed to hide or show numbers. Analog hands stay in place very well. Stands up by itself with fold out leg on back.

This is great. My son loves it
This is great. My son loves it, and his time telling skills are improving. I love the analog windows that open and close so he can self check.

Invest in a better quality....This one stinks!
This clock broke the same day we got it. The hands don't match up with the numbers on the clock below it. It broke the very first time my 6 year old used it. I was sitting right there so I know she wasn't being rough with it. I bought this because the price was right. Do yourself a favor and invest in a better quality one even if you have to pay a bit more.

1st one was defective, but quickly replaced by Amazon and 2nd one is great!!!
My son loves this because it has both analog and digital time. He is 8 with autism and very fascinated with clocks. We were very sad with this purchase initially because the first clock they sent us kept snapping out of synchronization between the analog and digital. A gear was slipping and a small rattle was heard, so our first clock arrived damaged. Within 2 days though, Amazon had another one in our mailbox and we sent back the first. The 2nd one seems to work fine. So if you get a bad one, just exchange it, as the gears inside are very fine tuned and I suspect if quality control is just a millimeter off on one, it causes this slipping. Very happy with the 2nd one so far, no problems!

Not synchronized, previous experience was positive though.
We previously had this model and it lasted 4 years before jamming; having had a good experience I purchased another last week. The new one isn't properly synchronized so the "digital" display is always 5 hours ahead of the analog display. Amazon is accepting my return, but my son is super disappointed.

Super teaching clock for small group instruction
A great mid-sized teaching clock. I use it for small group instruction in my classroom. The kids like using it too as it allows them to check their time with the digital numbers (I like the little doors that hide the digital numbers until the analog time is read.)

5 year old learned to tell time with this clock
I tried a different learning clock and the bells and whistles were too distracting, had that for a year and no progress. This clock is perfect, my kid learned to tell time by moving the minute-hand and reading the time displayed at the bottom. Big and sturdy and easy to manoeuvre. We’ve had it for just a week.

Bonne idée
Très intrusif robuste sauf que j’aurais aimer avoir le casse-tète des heures.Je me suis probablement trompé dans ma commende.Rien a dire de plus sur ce produit pour primaire et les basses de l’apprentissage excellent

Timely
I ordered 2 for my grandchildren and they loved the clock. I am sure they will learn to tell time, in no time at all.
