Great build
Great build, very fun!! Also had a little Lego humor in it (no spoilers). I built it in about 6 1/2 hours. Definitely recommend it.

Fun team building event
I mean, it's Lego! We built this crane as a team event. You can guess, we're in the construction business. Each of us had a kit. Some of us were remote and others were in the office. It was great hanging out and collectively building and struggling with it.

Lego crane

Awesome Lego set!
I’ve loved Lego for 20 years now. This set brought me back to the Lego city theme. Any dads that work construction need to get this for their son or daughter

It's great except the poor winch drum design.
(Old winch on left, my design on right, goes with winch problem below) It is a great set to display in it's lifting configuration, but with normal use, I found out the thread can get in-between the winch drum and the pin that holds in causing the line to snag and tighten. I had to disassemble the turret to get the winch out to fix it, so I just made my own with side walls to prevent it from getting caught and potentially breaking. It's bigger than I thought, good value, no missing pieces, good functions but a bit wobbly under light load on the hook. Only things I would change is making the stabilizers to a 2 stage telescopic design to cover a bigger area for more stability, and a redesigned winch drum with walls separate from the turret sides, less friction and less chance of the line being damaged over time.

Kid Approved! Price Disapproved!
Legos are always a win in our home. The instructions are clear and the toy is easy to assemble. My only complaint with Lego is the price; they're getting too expensive.

Great for getting back into Legos
It took my a couple of hours to build, mainly because I got it during the week and I couldn't wait for the weekend to build it. Tiny parts, bigger parts, the articulated parts... it brought me back to my childhood memories of playing with Legos - although, this was not the Lego of the 90s. The boom extends, lowers, raises, turns 306 degrees, the outriggers deploy and do stabilize the crane. I had to assemble the boom twice because I didn't get the gears properly mounted the first time, but that's part of the process. It was bigger than I expected when completed. My ONLY "issue" with it is that it won't turn or steer. Well, I guess I have to get more Legos so I can figure that part out...

Definitely a good set that is functional!
I ordered it, and it arrived the next day to me (Ottawa), took less than 24 hours. The box is bigger than i thought. It took almost 5 hours to assemble it. It is a bit pricy, but after all it is totally worth it. It is fully functional, the telescopic boom is extendible, operators cab rotates, the rope is not very long, but long enough. Has extendible legs for stability. Comes with 4 figures. Also has a counterweight than can be detached. The rope and boom adjust with 2 wheels on the side. Awesome set overall!
