Meet the challenge!
My grandson who was the recipient of this, loved his gift and had a lot of fun building this with him Dad. This was a birthday present when he turned 8 years old. This is project for an 11 and up and it was fun for him, it was challenging for him at times but he was up for the challenge.

Just Awesome
This set is just awesome. It is only a display set, not a play set - so be aware of that. The dragon doesn't come off the base and isn't very posable, but it looks rad. Probably not a great set for younger kids, but as a family build, it is a winner. The poster it comes with is pretty nice as well. Had a great time building this one.

Large Lego Set
My 14 yr old son said it took him on-and-off 6 hours to complete. It is very impressive and he really enjoyed working on it.

Magical
What an amazing piece of Lego. My grandson has dozens and dozens of Lego sets. But the look on his face when opening the package, we sent him, to reveal this set was simply magical. At 9 years of age and under the oversight of dad, he managed to patiently work though the build. Now fully built this surprisingly large dragon now takes pride of place amongst his collection.

Another cool dragon to add to the collection
A fantastic set that crushes it in almost every regard. The build is enjoyable, and the aesthetics of the model (including the surprisingly detailed base) are top notch. My only minor complaint is the set isn't very playable, unlike other Ninjago lego sets or even the other Ninjago Legends set currently out right now. Only the dragon's head (not the neck) and the arms are poseable (but a little limited by the shoulder design), and every other part is locked into place for stability.
