Excellent quality yoyo with good Packing and and spare strings. Managed to pull a few old skool tricks!

Impossible to set up
Bought for my daughter who was keen to learn tricks. It comes with a different baring that needs changing (there is 1mm difference - unsure why this was necessary). Instructions to create the knot are awful. Spent an hour trying to figure it out so far and have now given up. Unsure why it couldn't have come ready to use.

I couldn’t resist!
Yo-yos were a craze when I was young. I think there was a Coca-Cola promo or something where you could get a yo-yo or they were called spinners I think….anyway I could “walk the dog” and maybe one or two other tricks! When I saw this I couldn’t resist!. It’s great that it comes with multiple strings so you can choose the colour and have spares if you end up breaking one. There are instructions on how to get the correct string length for your height and how to attach the string properly. It’s got quite a chunky feel to it. Wider than the yo-yo spinners we used to have. I’m sure if you know a lot about yo-yos there are different sorts for different specialties of tricks and things? It’s funny how muscle memory works! A couple goes and I’m automatically flicking it down with a wrist action that actually really hurt my middle-aged painful wrist! But I can’t stop! Oh it’s so satisfying! I haven’t done any tricks yet. As I said it feels heavier and it’s differently shaped to the ones we used to have, but fun and possibly good physio for my wrist or I’m making it worse- I can still yo-yo with my left and too though! (Sorry, I’m suddenly 9 years old so bragging about my skills!) Cool zip-up case to keep everything together and store your yo-yo in your bag without the string getting tangled round everything. Apparently yo-yos are making a comeback! So maybe get one and practice so you can impress the younger ones in your life when it’s suddenly cool again!

Great beginner yoyo and can be adjusted for more advanced skills
This yoyo can be adjusted from being beginner-suitable to expert-suitable using the bearings and instructions contained in the set, but I can't comment on the effectiveness of the expert setting yet as 9yo is firmly in the beginner camp at the moment! It was easy enough to set up following the instructions booklet provided in the box and as well as the bearing set it comes with a selection of different coloured strings to choose from. The yoyo is nicely coloured and seems to work exactly as it should, and 9yo is spending many happy hours practicing the basics with the help of online videos so it feels like money well spent! I especially like the firm case it comes with, which holds the instructions and spare parts as well as the yoyo and stops us from losing bits.

Great yoyo & lovely colour
I picked this up for my nephew, who’s just getting into yo-yoing, and it’s been a brilliant choice. The MagicYoYo K2 comes set up for responsive play, so it returns to the hand with a gentle tug—perfect for beginners learning the basics. What’s great is that it also includes an unresponsive bearing and a longer axle, so as he progresses, he can switch it out and start learning more advanced tricks like binds and finger spins. The yo-yo itself feels solid and well-balanced, with a nice weight that gives it a good spin time. The crystal design is a nice touch, and it even comes with extra strings, a bearing removal tool, and a storage bag. For the price, it’s a fantastic starter set that grows with the player’s skills.
