Upside and downside
The upside, I found this puzzle a challenge to complete, a lot of detail. The pieces were well formed and cut completely through. The downside, I’ll now need to purchase the other puzzles in the series, it was that good. Update: another puzzle in the same series. Someone will be upset about having a part missing. My puzzle got two of the same part.

Good puzzle, but missing one piece and have extra piece.
Just finished and I am missing the last piece and I have a puzzle piece left over that is the same as another piece. Update. Found the missing piece. I enjoy the Lionel puzzle sets.

Challenging
This was an extremely challenging puzzle, and I’ve put together a lot of puzzles in my lifetime! Only disappointment was it was missing a piece! Noticed it first day since it was a border piece! So disappointed considering how much time I put in to completing this puzzle.

Beautiful gift puzzle!
My husband has a Lionel layout. We got this as a Christmas gift for him. Our children and I completed it. We let him put in the last piece. The pieces have a lot of give to them would probably be my only complaint but I didn’t put very many in the wrong place so that was good! This is probably the second hardest puzzle we have ever done. If you are looking for something fun and easy this is not the puzzle for you. If you like a challenge, you will enjoy this. The shelves and the dark areas were the hardest. We have it sitting in a puzzle keeper so we can admire it one more time before breaking it back down. It took us many days. I don’t actually recommend building it on a puzzle keeper felt mat unless you have a space that needs to be used for multiple things and you have to put it away often. The mat was really annoying because the pieces had some give. I had to keep trying to shift it a little to get it to all line up.

I bought this Lionel Train by MasterPieces, 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults, Family, Or Kids called "Thanks Dad" for a gift. He loved it and would like more Lionel Train puzzles so I will be buying more on Amazon, if in stock. The ease of putting it together was just right for an adult. The pieces were standard sized and were sturdy. Happy with the purchase.

Fun Puzzle
This was a version on the train theme that I like. It was actually quite fun to do, albeit a tad busy. Well made, little dust and the outcome was as nice as it shows on the box.
