Whitney Houston would've made a GREAT Michonne!!!
Yep. It's true. Would've been the comeback of the century (hey, still early in the 21st) and "The Walking Dead" (I seriously have no pun intended here) would've had its own great pop single to go along with this great series. Ms. Houston would've found another audience at comic book conventions. Too bad. R.I.P., Whitney. You woulda' kicked a' as Michonne!!!! But, the current actress (yes, shame on me for not knowing her name; kinda' backlogged on "The Walking Dead" episodes here, but, someone spoiled Michonne's appearance in the most recent ep' of this writing. Whoops!!!! Hope I didn't spoil it for you :)) is good too from what I hear. This toy is cool! I actually bought TWO Michonnes for a BIG fan of the AMC and comic book series (well, I am a fan, too; but, I didn't buy either for myself) who enjoys it immensely. Really neat, the concept of a Michonne character. Could crossover nicely into other labels (Marvel, DC, etc. Hey. A Blade/Michonne team up would kick major da kind, yeah?). Man . . . having a hard time keeping focus on what I should be discussing here, which is the Michonne action figure. But, I guess that's what you can charge to this character -- she the best, she is hardcore, and she takes no prisoners. This is a great action figure. The katana (samurai longsword) that figure sports is sorta' sharp, so, be careful. Anyway, the series ain't for kids, so, maybe the action figures shouldn't be either.

Top!

Great buy! I purchased this piece shortly after the 2012 NYC Comic.Com and was glad that I did. To date, this is the one and only figurine I have of Michonne. I like the detail, the clothing she is in, and the facial features. The accessories were varied and nice additions. Looking forward to purchasing the Bank in October.

This toy is horrible. I am rating this as a toy, not a statue, not as a fan of the show or comic (which I am) but as a person who wanted to put her in cool poses. As far as articulation goes, do you see the joint on her left arm... yeah it doesn't bend. OK yes it does but so little as to make it laughable, it can't even make an L shape. Her right hand is closed so tightly she can't grip her sword and her finger isn't even out to let her hold a gun (I got rick and he came with plenty of weapons). Yeah I know she primarily uses a sword but her arms move so little that she can't even get into a cool two handed grip pose. Her waist is turned so she cant even stand up properly. Yeah the detail is nice, except for the eyes which one is bigger than the other and both looking to her right, but this is not supposed to be a statue. As a fan who loves the comic and likes the show very much I completely regret buying this. If you want a statue then sure why not. But if you want a posable toy you can play around with and set up cool scenes with don't buy this. Seriously stop thinking about it and just go look for a poster or something. I didn't even set her up. I just put her back in the package and left her in my closet. Oh and the katana is short. Just saying it looks short.

This is one of McFarlane first attempt at the Walking Dead comic figures. You can defiantly tell because her fixed pose leg pose. It seems as if articulation was added on the last minute because it doesn't work well. Her paint job and sculpt is outstanding though, like you'd expect from a MCtoys. She comes with plenty of accessories which some she can hold better than others. Overall it's a passable figure.
