A Fun and Creative Addition to My Event!
I used the Melissa & Doug Sushi Slicing Wooden Play Food Set for a kids' sushi-making activity at a party I recently planned, and it was a huge hit! The set includes everything the little chefs needed to pretend they were making their own sushi—complete with a wooden knife and pieces of sushi to slice apart. The colors and details are so vibrant and realistic, making it a visually appealing activity that kept the kids engaged for hours. The best part was that it encouraged imaginative play and teamwork. The kids loved "cutting" the sushi, assembling their rolls, and serving them to each other. It was perfect for the theme and added a creative, hands-on element to the party. The quality is fantastic—sturdy, safe, and built to last, which is always important when dealing with young kids. Fun Sushi toy! Easy for 2yr old to cut slices
Our son who is less than 2 years old loves to play with this toy. He especially likes cutting the sushi with the knife. The velcro is just strong enough to hold, but easy enough for him to cut. It is fun to make little sushi rolls while we make sushi for dinner as a family. Thought it was a decent price for a well made toy. It seems to hold up okay so far, although the knife has had a bit of chipped edges and paint coming off where it has been hit against other pieces of wood. Overall great buy though.

So cute!
This is so fun and cute. The pieces are true to size. The materials seem sturdy and quality. No assembly required. I just keep an eye on my little one when she’s playing with this (or anything) because she still wants to put everything in her mouth, but this kept her attention for a while.

Realistic and fun sushi set
Melissa and Doug consistently make high quality, realistic kids toys and this sushi set is no exception. This sushi set comes on a high quality wooden box that can also be used as an organized storage space for the pieces. The set comes with multiple different sushi roll pieces, chop sticks, utensils, ginger, wasabi and even sashimi. Each piece in the set has a piece of Velcro attached to it to make assembling custom rolls easy. This set has been a fun addition to my daughters play kitchen and fun for the whole family.

Está padrísimo, les da un buen rato de diversión. Viene tal cual la imagen, hace una simulación muy real de cómo cortar rollos de sushi y cómo montar un niguiri, creo que hasta para los papás es muy entretenido! Nos encantó
