Telling Time Made Fun
We absolutely love learning how to tell time on this colorful and well constructed clock. The numbers are large and the hands move independently. The time cards are a nice addition. This clock makes learning fun and exciting.

Great product
Very educational. The kids think they are playing a game while actually learning to tell time on a clock

A children's clock for learning the time can make homework much easier in class and at home.
Children generally learn to tell time when they start elementary school (when they're 5 or 6 years old), as this is when they begin to understand what time means and how it's measured. At that age, they already have a pretty clear understanding of how much time passes between one hour and the next. My two grandchildren are already learning to tell time, and this helps us help them learn to orient themselves in time, establish routines, and complete their homework. Recommended!

What Time is It
I generally really love Melissa and Doug products, but this one is lacking in that the time that displays in the little window as the hands are moved is off a bit. Meaning the numbers don't line up within the little display box unless you move the hands further than they need to go. It is off by a minute. If the hands are placed on 10:30, then the display shows 10:29. Yes, I can close the little display window, but it's frustrating that it's not aligned correctly for the price paid. Other than that, I feel this is a great tool for teaching children to tell time (another lost art due to technology). The little time cards that came with the clock are nice. I ended up creating additional time cards on small index cards. Great clock, quality lacking a bit.

Good quality
Very good quality, sturdy and good colors. It is a little bit heavy but suitable for children. Just the right size to teach them about the clock

Great Toy for Learning Time! Another Winner from Melissa & Doug
I gave five stars or "I love it!" because my daughter loves it! She's three, and she's obsessed with clocks and learning to tell the time. She was having trouble grasping the concept of the minute hand, and this toy breaks down the minutes with each five-minute increment labeled, so a learner can quickly start to make associations that experienced clock-readers make at out of habit. The hands do make noise as they move, which I expected, and I consider a bonus when working with my toddler, because it gives her a firm point of reference when she's moving them. She doesn't care too much about the digital read out and cards right now, but it would certainly be a helpful guide for those who are learning digital clocks first and then need to learn the analog clock. It's very sturdy, and it's held up to her carrying it everywhere and showing it to everyone she meets.

Disappointed...
I normally love Melissa & Doug toys - solid & study, wood construction, etc, but this one actually left a lot to be desired. When I opened the box I immediately noticed that the top of the balsa wood face plate was broken - either the plastic wrapping was so tight that it cracked or it broke in shipping. Then I noticed that the side of the clock is also damaged, the face plate was separating from the back. As my 4 year old and I played with it I realized how hard the hands are to turn, also that the digital numbers don't really line up right and the slide in the back to cover the digital numbers is so hard to close that it's not even worth it. I'm sad because this should be a phenomenal toy, really well thought out and a great teaching tool! But the construction is lousy. Very unlike this brand.

Good
The hands are a little rigid to move by kids. Overall a great product to teach time to children.

Increíble herramienta para enseñar la hora, las manecillas un poco duras de manejar

Only time will tell but it certainly looked like a good teaching tool
I'm hoping this clock will teach my niece how to tell the time as currently she is really struggling. Only time will tell but it certainly looked like a good teaching tool.

Poor quality product- Dont work as mentioned on the webpage.
The product has stopped working within days of use.... I received the product on march 16,2018, gifted it in April 2018 and withing first week of use it has stopped working. I would not recommend this product to any one company considering the poor quality of the product.

Big
I like how it’s made of wood and good quality, but the cards constantly get lost. They don’t stay in the top slot unless you have all the cards. It’s very confusing that the minutes at 12 show 60 instead of 00. It has been a helpful teaching tool however.
