Excellent toddler gift
My toddler loves these little train cars! She’s starting to figure out how the magnets work. Excellent quality, perfect for little fingers, will grow with her for a few years. The magnets hold together well and it’s fun and easy to pull the train along without them coming apart.

Awesome Trains for 2 and 3 Year Old
Grandma got these trains about a year ago and my boys are still playing with them! Had to order a second set so they could share. The magnets are great on these. Their colors are cute but not overly bright. And man are they durable. Overall, they're awesome and work well with any wooden train track set.

What's not to love?! Wooden magnet trains beautifully painted and stored in a compartmentalized wooden box! These are great! My only complaint is that my children want to play with them so much that they struggle to share. ????

Perfect for Little Hands and Big Imaginations!
As a mom of two energetic toddlers (ages 2.5 and 4), I’m always on the hunt for toys that are fun, safe, and educational — and this Melissa & Doug wooden train set is a total winner in our house! Right out of the box, my kids were obsessed. The pieces are just the right size for little hands, and the magnets are strong enough to keep the train together during wild zooms across the living room floor. I love that it’s made of sturdy wood (not cheap plastic), and the bright colors keep my kiddos engaged for way longer than I expected. What I especially appreciate is how it's helped them practice sharing and building little stories together — plus, it holds up surprisingly well to the occasional toddler tantrum toss ???? Highly recommend for any parent looking to add a classic, screen-free toy to their playroom. This one's a keeper!

Super fun
This was an amazing add. They will carry it around the house, sit and play with it. The world of play they come up with is unreal and beautiful. It's not a super small train, fits perfectly in the toddlers hands and I am not worried about them putting it in their mouth. Functions great on the tracts and off, the traction is great no issues. Super strong and durable. Withholds a 2, 3, & 5 year olds. Fun colors. No odors. Easy to remove from package. Easy to use.

What I Love: High-Quality Craftsmanship: As with all Melissa & Doug products, these train cars are durable and made from smooth, solid wood. They’ve held up well even with some rough play. Bright and Engaging Colors: The vibrant paint and design are eye-catching and keep my little one engaged for hours. Magnetic Connections: The magnets work seamlessly, allowing kids to explore how trains connect and move. It’s a great introduction to basic STEM concepts like polarity and sequencing. Versatility: The size of these train cars is perfect for small hands and compatible with other wooden train tracks we already own. Wonderful first train
This is so cute! My grand loves it. It's a wonderful first train. It's well made and a nice size. My grand is 3, I wouldn't buy it for anyone younger, especially if your child puts things in their mouths, it does have small pieces.

Cute little set!
What a nice surprise!! Cute little wooden box to organize all the cars into. Nice to have a place for each one. All the cars are nicely painted and smooth, perfect for little hands!!! No assembly required, I think they'll last for years!

Solid toy for the imagination
The train set was an instant hit with a 3-year-old. He needed no help to hook the cars together and take the train for a spin. An hour later, he was still at it. Solid, well made.
