Great way to keep little ones busy without creating a mess
I bought these for my granddaughters to have something to keep them busy while visiting this summer. They were 2 and 5 at the time and loved them. Just fill the pen with water and off they go. No mess to clean up. The pages dried fairly quickly so could be reused again and again. I don't know how long they would hold up as we only used them for about a week but in that time they held up fine and had a lot of use. It was definitely worth the money even to only use them for a week.

Must have for long car rides!
Was a hit with our 2,5 toddler on a long car ride. Loved the ease of use and that it is mess free. The only drawback I see is that if they start using the water pen too hard the paper will scratch and the color appears, but its bound to happen with a toddler. She didn't seem to mind though. Loved that there were several items to be discovered on the page it was very fun.

Go-to for on the go fun
As usual, Melissa and Doug has delivered a high quality product that keeps my 2.5 year old engaged. The water wow books are some of our favorite ways to pass time in the car, at a restaurant or anywhere I don’t want to have to worry about mess. My daughter loves will do them over and over and has requested this cute princess one multiple times a day since it arrived.

Super fun and not messy
These are great for toddlers so no mess is made, however the pages scratch easily when wet which means the special coating to hide the color when dry comes off. Still amazing though!

Great, fun project for little ones learning dexterity skills.
My 3.5 year old absolutely loves this. It is fun discovering the colors as they develop through the water painting, and being able to go back to pages he has completed and seeing that the water has evaporated and being able to do the pages again. He wants me to do them with him, which is fun. He will ask me to do the wheels, or the cloud and we will guess what color we think it will be. It’s a lot of fun and something we can do together. He feels successful in that it is something he can do and not be frustrated with while he is learning dexterity skills.

Perfect Mess-Free Fun for Little Ones!
I can’t say enough good things about the Melissa & Doug Water Wow books! These are a total lifesaver for car rides, restaurants, or quiet play at home. My toddlers absolutely love watching the colors appear like magic when they “paints” with the water pen. I love that they’re completely mess-free—no worrying about spills, markers on the walls, or stained clothes. The pages dry quickly, so they can reuse them over and over again. The pen is easy for little hands to hold, and everything is compact enough to toss in my bag for on-the-go entertainment. We’ve purchased several different versions (animals, vehicles, dinosaurs), and they enjoy them all. Great value, educational, and fun—highly recommend for toddlers and preschoolers!

No brainer for long journeys
This water paint book is a total lifesaver for keeping kids busy on long trips. No mess, no fuss — just dip the brush in water and watch the colors appear. Los amamos
Muy bonitos dibujos como todos los Water wow que hemos comprado. Sobre la queja de que se tuercen mucho, pues es lógico si no se le da tiempo para secar bien antes de cada uso, pero dejando que seque por varias horas, no hay tal problema.

Fantastic for occupying young children
Fantastic for occupying young children. My 3 year old son doesn't have much focus for actual colouring in restaurants, but if we take one of these out we can keep him still for a while! Only shame is there is no where to store the pen and is bound to get lost!
