Decent value motors
I was surprised at the quality of these motors for the price. In my case, 7/8 worked immediately, with the remaining one having a damaged connector, I suspect due to damage in transit rather than any manufacturing error. This was easy enough to repair and afterwards the repaired motor worked perfectly too. While the product photos only show one, there are actually shafts on both sides of the gearbox as described, so in theory you could use a single motor to drive two wheels at once. In practice I think that would only be feasible in very low torque applications as these motors aren't hugely powerful, but for lightweight RC cars they'll do a reasonable job.

Good value set of motors for small cars or robot projects.
Nice little project motors. These have a little stub axle coming out of either side, so you can add wheels either side and keep your chassis layout clean. This stub axle has flats for location, and you can buy wheels that fit separately (or print your own). In operation, they do work at 3.3V, but are happier at 5V. When used at 5V, they draw 140mA free running with no load, and stall out at 400mA, so you'll need a motor driver board as well, unless you're going old skool with transistors or relays. All 8 worked, out of the bag. (depressingly, I feel this is important to point out, as this is no longer a given) There was a certain amount grease on the housings, a bit icky, but then I realised (a) it's summer in the northern hemisphere, so things get hot in transit, and (b) that means there's grease in the gearbox, and that's a good thing. Anyway, 10 seconds with a rag and we're all good . They have a rotational speed of about 150rpm at 5V, but I don't have a tacho to check exactly, so I was counting rotations.. don't blame me if I missed a few, and I can't promise two motors will rotate at exactly the same speed with the same voltage - but for little DC motors, they're not bad. Overall, a good little set of motors, with enough to build two 4WD, or even four 2WD of whatever wheeled thing takes your fancy. Or one with a lot of accidents.. :-)
