Great puzzles for toddlers through kindergarten!
This is a great puzzles for toddlers through kindergarten (maybe even 1st grade)! I first came across it (and other Mudpuppy puzzles) at my local library. All the kids were attracted to this, including my son! He is 2.5 and really loves to put this puzzle together. He needs help at this point, but is steadily learning how to put the pictures/patterns/colors together, and having fun while doing it. The large pieces are easy for little hands to grasp and manipulate, and the puzzle is pretty large, so it keeps him occupied for a good amount of time as we work through the puzzle. I'd highly recommend this puzzle, and the other jumbo puzzles that Mudpuppy offers - we've had great luck with them! We also have a couple of their "pouch puzzles", and they're great for traveling. Enough pieces to put together, but few enough to keep up with all the pieces, and compact enough to fit in my bag for those times we go visiting. Try these puzzles out, you won't be disappointed!

2 yr old loves this puzzle
Nice product, Size pieces and sturdy material. 2 year old enjoys playing this puzzle every morning with his father. He can point out basic geography and likes the pictures that goes with the states.

Mudpuppy makes great, well made puzzles!
Love this puzzle, but I didn't give it 5 stars because some of the edges were bent (bad enough to where it will not lay flat) and a few marks that make it appear that the puzzle is used. It is frustrating to pay for a "new" puzzle and have it arrive damaged. Aside from that, my 3 year old really likes this puzzle. It is fun to be able to show him what State we live in and where our relatives live. Also, when one of us travels, we can see on the map where that person is going. Simple enough to put it together alone, if he wants to.

Toddler Puzzle Fun
This is a really great puzzle for toddler who enjoy them. My two year old loves puzzles and has enjoyed this one a lot. The pieces are large and easy to manipulate and allows toddlers to grow their skills with recognition and matching. The image of the USA map is striking with its colors that allow for easier matching. It can additionally help teach information about the US by showing where states are along with different popular images, icons, or activities in each state. The puzzle is cardboard but is thick enough that little hands cannot easily break the pieces.

Great puzzle for preschoolers
I debated getting this puzzle vs. others of the US since this one doesn't have individual pieces for each state. I ended up choosing this one b/c the graphics are better and I thought it might be easier for a 3-year old to do solo. Turns out to have been a good choice. My daughter enjoys putting it together and can easily do it on her own...just enough challenge to hold her interest without getting frustrated. As she puts it together, we talk about where we live and who we know that live in each of the other states and how close or far away that is from us. It's really not necessary to have 50 individual state pieces to learn the names and shapes of each state. And the packaging is great for storing b/c it stands up...young children can easily retrieve and open on their own. In all, it's a nice little educational toy. We also have the world map and it's a great puzzle as well.

Great Gift
Bought for my grand babies 8, 6 & 3 and they have all had fun putting it together. Stores in a durable box, large sturdy pieces. I highly recommend.

Great puzzle for a 3 year old
This puzzle is perfect for our 3 year old. It’s her favorite puzzle and she wants to do it almost daily. After some practice, she can actually now do it by herself. It definitely helps that the puzzle pieces are larger than normal. And she’s also started to learn a few of the states which is an added benefit! I just bought another set as a gift for a 3 year birthday party.
