6 bags, 2 lbs each, plus molds
The quality of this kinetic sand is better than the other bulk 11 lb pack on Amazon, which I bought at the same time. The flow of the sand is mesmerizing and it is less clay-like than some cheaper competitors. It has good adhesion, but doesn't get as stiff and hard to scoop as some of the others. I liked that the sand came in two pound bags (just shy of a kilo), because one bag is a good amount for one child to play with in an indoor-sized bin. The other brand only had two 5.5 lb bags, which is too much for use in a tabletop sized container. I bought this with another brand to supply my three year old's birthday party at a park. I put about 6 pounds of sand in each of three different under-bed style storage bins (about 6 inches deep) with tiny toy trucks and plastic animals. This kept a dozen toddlers fully engrossed and having fun for nearly two hours, to the point that they didn't even want to go on the playground that was ten feet away. Only the draw of chocolate cake was enough to break the kinetic trance. All the parents wanted to know where to get it and it was an incredibly easy party to set up. Clean up consisted of closing the bins and loading the car. Hardly any sand escaped the bins! I highly recommend the National Geographic brand kinetic sand over the others, which don't have the same high quality flow. We had no issues with stickiness, staining or residue and it is easy to pull out toys. This was the perfect activity for my three year old's construction truck themed birthday party. Cake topper sized construction trucks play well in the sand bins.

Perfect indoor sensory activity for toddlers!
Both of my sons love playing in the sandbox outside during the summer months. However, we live in a place with long, cold winters. I was so excited to discover this kinetic sand for indoor sensory play during the winter or rainy days! I keep it in a shallow tub that they can play in on the kitchen floor while I’m cooking dinner. Then I just put the lid on the tub when not in use. We’ve had this box of kinetic sand for 2 years now and it’s still in perfect play condition (aside from the fact that it’s all the same color now that they’ve mixed all the colors together haha). Very highly recommend! You can throw cars, toy construction vehicles, toy tractors, etc in for additional creative play!

Nice fluffy sand
If you kids go though sand like mind this is a nice big box of different colors. It is a little fluffyier than what we are use to but it is a nice sand

Fun Activity for any age
I purchased this for my 7 year old for Christmas. All of my children enjoy playing with it. The consistency of the sand is great. The little molds that come with the sand have been fun for them to build castles. I put each color into a rectangle shaped rubbermaid container so they could play with it directly in the container. This helped to keep all the sand in one place and off the floor. It does clean up easily if it does get on the floor because it sticks together. The price point is great and this is a great gift for any age.

Great sand for outdoor sandbox
I love that sand, its so delicate, velvety feel. It reminds me about white sand beaches in Rivera Maya that are the distant dream at this time during pandemic... I purchased that sand for outdoor sandbox and I'm very happy with it. My girls (1 and 3 years old) love it. The sand molds to perfect shapes but is more dry than other kinetic sands. It feels more like wet beach sand. It also stick a bit to cloths and hands but in my opinion it's easy to clean. Perfect option for outdoor sandbox. I would recommend it for outdoor rather than indoor use. For use at home I purchased kinetic sand from diffrent producer that sticks more together.

Best Sensory Play Material!
Kinetic sand has been a wonderful addition to our childcare environment! The children love the soft, moldable texture, and it provides a calming sensory experience as they squeeze, shape, and watch it flow through their fingers. It’s a great tool for promoting fine motor skills, creativity, and even mindfulness. Unlike regular sand, it sticks together, making cleanup so much easier. Meilleur rapport qualité prix !
Lorsque j'ai commencé à chercher du sable cinétique pour en offrir à mon fils j'ai déchanté... trop souvent très peu de sable et des prix très élevés. Quand je suis tombée sur ce produit j'ai cru que je comprenais mal car la description n'était pas très claire mais les commentaires rédigés en anglais étaient très positifs, je me suis donc lancée, et je ne suis pas déçue. Le carton est tout petit (pas de place perdue) et rempli de 3 sacs de sable cinétique (couleur naturel, bleu et violet), pour un total de 2,7 kilos!! Les moules sont petits et donc très maniables pour les petites mains. Aucune odeur, texture très agréable, très douce, toute la famille adore y jouer! Foncez, sable de qualité et prix correct au vu de la grosse quantité de sable fournie.
