Fast and bright
We get a lot of RC cars around here. Unfortunately, they usually don’t last with my 5 year old as he is rough with toys. This RC car quickly ended its journey when the frame was cracked by said 5 year old. Frame is actually quite thin. I imagine so the lights can shine through easier. So, no rough housing with this RC car. It is more fragile than others. The one thing I didn’t like is that it’s battery operated. Having the ability to charge would be nice and I will always opt for those types of RC cars versus battery operated. If that bothers you, I would not get this. Despite its battery operation it is quite fast and has really awesome light quality! It was by far one of the coolest RC cars we have gotten as far as speed and lighting go. Because my child is at fault, I will not down grade this product. It was really quite awesome and it would make any child very happy. The lights are really what make it neater than others. If you could get a couple different colored and lighted RC cars, it would be a blast to play with these at night in a driveway.

Cool Toy
This was a cool toy to use for a while and it had a good speed for being small. The plastic was very durable for those bumpy hits. Tires got used up pretty fast but they performed okay. The lighting could have been better all around the car because i only saw that the light was just at the front of the car, and also it was a bit confusing when you have the on switch on the button with the wire. I didn;t understand it's purpose. It only turned on when the car was off, and the lights never turned on while in motion. Not sure what the purpose of that little controller was for. Okay car for a while

A NEAT LITTLE RACE CAR
This puppy will delight kids of all ages. It is best used on smooth floors as it does have trouble on a rug. It does zip around in a satisfying manner I think it to be a bit fragile so I'm not sure how long it will survive in the hands of young kids. It will take some practice to control it of course. I give it 4 stars, taking into account the low price point. HAVE FUN!! As always, this is an honest, unbiased review.

Did not work.
I got this for my grandson to play with when he comes over to visit. Gave it to him as a present and told him it needed to stay at my house for safe keeping. He was alright with that. Then we pulled out some brand new Duracell's and went to turn it on and it would not work. The car turned on but the remote would not do anything no matter what I tried.

Not a big fan of the low quality car
The RC Lightning Racer by Thin Air Brands was a major disappointment. Despite the promise of "igniting the racetrack" with LED technology, the lights barely worked, leaving the racing experience dull. Far from being a perfect gift, it turned out to be a letdown for my 6-year-old's birthday, failing to deliver the excitement I expected. The touted "multiplayer thrills" turned into frustration as the 2.4GHz technology frequently lost connection, ruining any chance of thrilling head-to-head competitions. The remote control's "total control" was more of a myth, with erratic steering and inconsistent responses, making high-speed adventures more of a chaotic ordeal. The build quality is a total disappointment....

A lot of fun for the price
For anyone getting this as a gift, make sure you have 5 AA batteries to avoid instant disappointment. The tires are rubber so the traction on smooth tile is very good. The controls are simple and there is no throttle control. It's either off or full throttle, which is quite fun and exciting. It's less about precision but more about uncontrolled excitement, which is what being a kid (or kid at heart) is all about. Well worth the purchase especially if you have rechargeable batteries which is what I'd recommend. The light up body is quite good for playing at night so that the fun doesn't have to end just because the sun goes down.

Toddlers Rc
This Rc is great for very young kids. Its easy to control and it is a nice looking car. I wouldnt recommend it for older kids as it goes a bit slow but for younger kids its perfect. It doesnt go so fast where it will break on first impact. My 4year old nephew has been having fun and its easier to maneuver because its control is small.

Not a bad R/C car but I have questions...
This little RC car is not bad. It's fast and it was being operated on top of carpet which is pretty huge. I gave it 4 stars because there were a few times when you would try to steer and the wheel wouldn't turn almost as if your batteries were getting low. That for me is a little bit of an issue because I should be able to react quickly at any given time and turn whenever I needed to. Nonetheless, my son liked it though.
