Accurate but Flimsy
If you are a fan of Princess Bride collectible things, then I'd say this is worth buying. It does actually look like Wesley, as opposed to most movie action figures these days. I think I read another reviewer mention the sword breaking. Mine broke literally laying in my hand where the blade meets the hilt. We were able to repair with some heavy duty glue, but any type of mishandling and it will break again. It takes some manuvering to get him to actually stand up as his feet don't ever actually move to stand straight on the floor. But I should note his legs do move. If you are thinking of buying this for a kid who wants a Princess Bride toy - skip this one. If it's going on your movie memorabilia shelf, get it! I actually love mine, but I'm just going to be looking at it!

I wish this were part of a series. There is far too little "The Princess Bride" memorabilia. This is a great figure. It has some articulation in the shoulders and knees, but it's pretty pointless unless your desk is severly crooked. Also, the sheeth for the sword is mostly useless, it doesn't fit on the body in any way. None of this really matters though. The detail is impressive; they even gave him his trademark smirk! Buy it, and maybe they'll do more characters!

When I saw this, I had to have it! Now who could really resist the "Dread Pirate Roberts"? The cunning, the strength, the wit, the itty bitty mustache...I love this action figure and the movie it came from!! If you love The Princess Bride... you have to get this!
