Not impressed with this. It was functional and the graphics were OK, but they were cut out forms, each one needed to be taped to make the moon phase a 3D shape. The form representing the sun, again functional, but hardly represented the fact that it is so much larger than planet Earth. It was however the easier form to put together and it was somewhat larger than the Earth form. Unless you use some kind of cylindrical object under each form to make them sit up, it is near impossible to place them in the right order and have them stay in place. I would not have purchased this if I'd had any idea how flimsy it was going to be. The book of facts, which was included, was less about the moon and more about what else the company sold. It did have some interesting information, but all of the information could have been printed on a 2–3-page pamphlet. Basically, it provided enough for a last-minute quarterly science project, it wasn't anything spectacular. Since it represented itself as a teacher's resource product, I'm not sure what teacher would recommend it to her students.

Great for school projects
My son used this for his 6th grade science project. At first this was a bit difficult for my kid to construct, but once he got the hang of it...it was worth the money...and he got an A!
