this arrived too late for my son to use for a masquerade dance but it looks just as pictured if you are looking for a somewhat steampunk look. If you wanted to get rid of the chains it would be a fairly simple thing to do and still have a unique looking mask. This is going into our costume bin for now but I'm sure it will get used at some point.

Nice mask! Looks great & comfortable to wear
This is a really nice mask with lots of good details. It is made of plastic, but it doesn't look or feel cheap. Some parts are metal though, like the studs and chains. I do like the design, especially these chains and studs. The plastic mask is painted, but I must say it looks really good. Studs are secured with screws, and chains are also secured well, so it’s unlikely that they would come off easily. The mask is tied with a ribbon. The plastic used for the mask is quite flexible, so it’s very comfortable to wear. I’ve had some masks that dig into the face, but this one doesn’t. This is also very light weight, which makes it comfortable to wear. I’m very happy with this mask and I would definitely recommend it.

Plastic mask, but the spikes and chains are metal. The chain in front of the eye isn't annoying. Fits well.

Chain blocks vision
Got for cosplay. This mask is light and looks great. The only negative is the chain can't be moved and it blocks vision on one side.

Would Look Great but Arrived Broken
I ordered this mask for a masquerade party I was attending but was never able to use it because it arrived broken. The packaging was just a bag and offered no protection for the shape of the mask and one side of it was completely snapped off upon arrival. If it weren't for the damage that rendered it unusable, this would be a really cool costume mask. It looks great in-person and the fit over the nose and eyes is very nicely formed and fitted. The mask itself is plastic and includes ribbons for tying it on. The ribbons are a bit slippery so not super ideal for holding it in place well. The design and details of the mask look great but if I were actually able to wear this I think the one chain piece that hangs in front of the eye would irritate me. Overall, I really like the looks of this mask, but between the easily breakable plastic and lack of protective packaging, I wasn't even able to use it.
