I got this book binding fabric for a project I’ve been working on and was intrigued how the fake leather texture would work compared to the normal book fabric I use… and I’ve been so impressed I’m already planning on buying more in different colours for other projects. The material isn’t really like leather though, it’s a little closer to soft leather but is more like a suede texture, however it’s super soft and looks great. The blue is a lovely dark deep colour that works really well as a book. The backing is a nice thick paper that was easy to apply glue too and was still really sturdy even when covered. It laid perfectly flat and stuck down well with no air bubbles or wrinkles either! It’s also really simple to apply heat transfer vinyl too and only took 20 seconds with my heat press. Once on and dried it’s actually perfect. I’m so happy with it and honestly couldn’t recommend it more!! Overall this is easily 5 stars and I will be buying more.

Very poor
Not a leather finish. More of a suede. Arrived on a roll but still creased, marked and pretty shabby. Cant be bothered to go through the hassle of exchanging for probably the same! Not a happy customer.

Effective and easy to use leather look paper
This thin, leather effect coated paper is good stuff. It's lightly textured and does look like leather. It's also quite tough despite its thinness and is not easy to rip. This cuts easily with scissors, Sizzix cutting dies, and using my Scan n Cut. Very versatile and easy to use: I like this a lot.
