Franchement : le top ! Pris avec une plume fine, l'écriture est d'une fluidité bluffante. Le confort et le plaisir d'écrire sont bel et bien présent, de quoi oublier totalement mon achat précédent (Wordsworth). Je me permet donc de recommander particulièrement ce stylo plume et bravo encore à la marque Scriveiner pour la qualité de son produit !

Parfait ! Très bonne glisse, pratique et bonne finition
Très bonne glisse, belle finition, l'encre coule bien et régulièrement, ni trop ni trop peu, j'ai pris la plume fine et il répond parfaitement. J'aime le bouchon qui se met et se retire juste en poussant sans qu'on ait besoin de visser. Parfait.

Un stylo-plume de très grande qualité, pour un prix vraiment raisonnable
Utilsé avec l'encre "Perle noire" de Jacques Herbin. Après avoir cherché l'un des meilleurs choix de stylo-plume, en lisant des commentaires édités sur des blogs de véritables connaisseurs, j'ai choisi celui-ci et je ne le regrette en rien : la plume glisse sur le papier, l'encre s'écoule sans soubresaut. Bref, le plaisir d'écrire comme dans ma jeunesse (sexagénaire, désormais)... et sans cartouche. A utiliser sur du papier de qualité, même de type A4, c.-à-d. suffisamment épais (évitez le Amazon's choice, qui bave lamentablement).

My experience with the Scriveiner Classic Silver Chrome fountain pen started off on a disappointing note but quickly turned into one of the best customer service encounters I’ve ever had. When I first received the pen, I was disheartened to find that the nib was not seated correctly. This resulted in excessive ink flow, hard starts, and frequent skipping—frustrating issues that no one expects from a premium writing instrument. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the tines were slightly separated, making me wonder if I had received a returned item. Additionally, it wrote more like a medium, though I purchased and expected a extra fine nib. However, this initial letdown was swiftly resolved by Scriveiner’s outstanding customer service. They were incredibly responsive and thorough, quickly arranging for a replacement. The new pen arrived promptly, and this time, it was perfect. The extra fine nib wrote exactly as it should—finer than even my Pilot pens—and has since become my go-to everyday carry (EDC) pen. Beyond its performance, the Scriveiner Classic Silver Chrome is a stunningly designed pen. It feels solid and well-balanced in hand. The chrome and gold finish exudes a refined elegance. I love love love the finial design. One of the standout features is the converter—it’s the best I’ve used, providing a smooth and reliable ink flow. Additionally, there’s a beautiful and satisfying sound and feel when you cap the pen. It’s a small but joyful detail that enhances the experience of using this exquisite pen. I'm impressed by the meticulous craftsmanship that went into creating this pen. Perhaps one of the most impressive moments came after I had to set the pen aside for a few days due to illness. When I picked it up again, it wrote immediately, as if I had just used it seconds ago—something many fountain pens struggle with. Despite the rocky start, this pen has won me over completely. The combination of exquisite design, top-tier performance, and Scriveiner’s exceptional customer service makes it a worthy addition to any collection. If you’re looking for a reliable, stylish, and well-crafted fountain pen, this one is an excellent choice.

Was very excited to get this fountain pen. Upon opening I was very impressed with the pen as far as quality, appearance and feel. I opened the insert to get the ink cartridge and bam…2 open villes ..one black one I would assume was blue. No caps on villes ..blue was dried empty and black had a tad bit in it that spilt into my hands. Quality control is crap. They should have received the kings award for biggest failure and disappointment. I will be returning this $120 mistake. Update .. Scriveiner London reached out to me after my one star review. Like I said originally the fountain pen was fantastic but ink and quality control issues soured me… Scriveiner London sent me a new pen and ink without me asking. This blew me away. They obviously do care about customer service and quality control. Now that I have a working pen I can tell you this fountain pen is actually of very high quality, writes extremely smooth and is just stunning in appearance and handling. They really do deserve the Kings Award.

Beautifully made, writes like a dream
This Scriveiner fountain pen exceeded my expectations. I'd never heard of this brand before, but was looking for a fountain pen within my budget. I chose the stainless steel with chrome finish, and it’s absolutely gorgeous in person — sleek, elegant, and weighty in the hand without feeling cumbersome. It has a luxurious feel that makes writing a pleasure. I went with the fine nib, which writes smoothly and consistently. The ink flow is excellent straight out of the box, with no skipping or scratchiness. In practice, the fine line isn’t dramatically thinner than a medium (I also own a Parker medium), but the Scriveiner offers a more refined writing experience overall. The included refillable converter is a real bonus — no need to rely on disposable cartridges if you prefer bottled ink. At £44, this is more than I’ve ever spent on a pen, but it feels absolutely worth it. It's perfect for journaling, planning, or simply enjoying the act of putting words on paper. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a pen that combines beauty, comfort, and performance but doesn't cost as much as a mortgage payment.
