Great Christmas gift!
My daughter loves Polly pockets, I think they’re acceptable for anyone between the age of 5 to 10! This one could really handle my daughter, dropping it and throwing it around. It was brand new and I think would be great as a gift. Very fun toy that can be easily stored in the car!

Can't close with all the accessories inside, but a fun concept
Like other reviewers have mentioned, the packaging was poor in that all the pieces were inside, but the packaging itself was severely damaged during shipping and not acceptable for gift giving. Thankfully this isn't why I bought mine, so that didn't bother me. This set comes with a lot of accessories, and even when taken down and moved about, the set is impossible to close. This is a huge flaw for something that's meant to be a travel toy. (I recommend the Penguin Ice Cream compact highly as you can leave all the accessories up and it closes just fine.) If you remove a few accessories like the life guard chair and the waterski and boat, this is no longer a problem, but it's a shame these modern pollys don't open up ready to go like the vintage ones do. There's plenty to do in this set regardless, though, and nothing feels too cramped in the space. I especially like that the water is covered with a clear plastic to make it look more like water, but also making it more durable. If you want a beach-themed or summer-themed compact, this is the one to go with. If you're giving it as a surprise travel gift, remove some of the bigger accessories first, that way it'll be easier for your little one to close on the go.

Cute and good price
This is a cute Polly pocket set . The size is perfect to stuff in a take a long bag and give hours of entertainment while on an outting. My 5yr old does need some help opening the door. The built is decent. I wasn’t missing any pieces and it has been dropped a few times and held up.

Das Polly Pocket Winterliche Pinguin Set hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen und begeisterte unsere Töchter und uns. Die kleine Schatulle ist wunderschön gestaltet und die Liebe zum Detail ist überall zu sehen. Man kann sie einfach überall hin mitnehmen. Das ist perfekt für längere Autofahrten oder Restaurantbesuche, bei denen die Mädels eine Beschäftigung brauchen. Die zwei kleinen Puppen und die Accessoires sind einfach süß. Besonders toll sind die beweglichen Elemente. Die Pinguine rutschen im Iglu, der Schneemann dreht sich und die Figuren können im „Eis“ Schlittschuh laufen. Das inspiriert die Kinder dazu, sich immer wieder neue Geschichten auszudenken und der Fantasie freien Lauf zu lassen. Die Qualität ist, wie man es von Polly Pocket gewohnt ist, sehr gut und robust. Die Teile sind klein, aber gut verarbeitet und halten auch intensives Spielen aus. Insgesamt ist dieses Spielset ein fantastisches Geschenk für alle Polly Pocket Fans und Kinder. Es bietet stundenlangen Spielspaß und ist ein bezauberndes kleines Winter-Wunderland, das in jede Tasche passt. Klare Kaufempfehlung von uns!
