Clearly made of felt and nothing like the image!
Labelled as polyester but clearly made of a pressed felt. This is nothing like the product image where you can clearly see it's an actual silky polyester fabric and drapes over the body. This is stiff felt that stretches out of shape and is not comfy to wear and not as described. The rest of it looks the same but for £19 at the time of my review, nope.

It's just okay - adds a bit of Christmas fun but not good quality sadly
This did put a smile on the face of the family when I put in on for Christmas, so in that respect, it did its job to bring a bit of festive cheer ... for the short time it was on. The downside to this is that it's pretty basic, it's not the best quality and it's uncomfortable to keep on. It's certainly not as good in real life as it looks in the listing photos, where it appears to be more like a silky, well-made kind of material, like a beautiful flowing cape. In reality, it's just not that. It's a made from what seems to be a large piece of thin and crumpled felt-like material, stitched very simply together in a rough over the head kind of poncho style, with some armholes, a little hooded topper and some very basic decorations stuck on it to resemble a tree. I don't think any measuring has gone into the making of this as the hood and armholes were very small fitting despite the poncho itself being plenty roomy (I went for XL so that it would go over clothes easily and not be tight fitting). It's the kind of thing you might knock up yourself (if you have basic sewing skills) and it certainly looks homemade, possibly even like a sewing project you've completed at school. Add to this the fact that it's quite uncomfortable to wear (I could only keep it on for short periods) and the loosely stuck on decorations come off quite easily, along with the itchy tinsel shedding constantly while you're wearing it, and it's just a bit of a miss in terms of its success. If I'd made this, I'd be pretty proud of putting it together myself, but at almost a £20 price tag (at the time of the review) I just don't think it offers value for money for how poor the finish is or what you get out of it with only being able to wear it for short periods. If it looked like the listing image and had the same level to the quality of the finish, I'd be able to score this more highly for the review, but unfortunately I can't with what was received.
