The packaging is gorgeous. I enjoyed the unboxing experience :P Bought the Carousel pen in medium nib, with Emerald Gardens ink also by Ferris Wheel Press. Only had this a couple of days, so currently no issues. It arrived with an ink converter housed in the fountain pen, that filled up simply by twisting the black end whilst hold the clear end at the surface of the ink, had to be careful to not tip the ink bottle though. The pen has a screw on lid and the body also unscrews from the nib-holder. There is a design in white over the nib-holder, but the main parts are a toned down metalic green. Couldn't get the ink to flow for a few minutes and gently twisted the nib, it tightened and the ink flowed. Tried it on Filofax paper and it ghosts but no bleed through. However, it did bleed through my budget printer paper. The ink I used has shimmering particles and I wandered if this would impede on ink delivery within the nib, fortunately, no issues so far, ink flows. The nib is thinner than I expected for a medium nib, it writes like a fine tip rollerball pen.. The nib glides over the paper, there is no scraping or resistence from the nib :)) I have not emptied the ink converter, it will be easy to do though, if I want to use a different ink. Almost forgot to mention, the pen has not leaked into the lid or worse although it was laid flat overnight on my desk. Magic :D

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gorgeous Finish + Surprisingly Smooth Writer!
The Ferris Wheel Press Aluminum Carousel fountain pen in Serpentine Blooms is a visual knockout. The anodized finish shifts beautifully between deep orchid and raspberry depending on the light, and the subtle metallic sheen gives it a luxe, boutique feel without being flashy. Functionally, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it writes—smooth, consistent ink flow with a nice touch of feedback, especially for a steel nib. It feels balanced in the hand despite being metal, and the faceted cap design prevents annoying roll-off on your desk (a big plus in my chaotic studio). Perfect for journaling, sketching, or just elevating your everyday pen game. I now own three colors—with several more on the way thanks to amazing Prime Days sales - and I can already tell this one will be in heavy rotation.

Very Nice Makes a Great Gift
Purchased as a gift for a friend who likes to write cards, letters and to journal. She raves about this pen, the way it feels in her hand and glides across the paper. We got her some fantastic ink to go with.
