LOVE
Exactly what I was looking for. Challenging and fun. I put this together for my dad who is a retired military aircraft painter. He loved it. I wish there were more puzzles like this.

It's a winner...very entertaining!
I bought this because of my prior experience with other EuroGraphics puzzles. I assumed the quality would be just as good as the others. The quality of the pieces is fine; the cardboard is "OK", but thick. It's not as compressed as that in their WW I and WW II puzzles, but it's still fine. I was originally planning on giving it a 3 or 4 star rating due to the following reason: The pieces are all pretty much the same/similar. They are not interchangeable, but what I mean is that if you were to turn them over with the back facing the top, they would ALL LOOK THE SAME! I really enjoy the WW I and WW II airplane puzzles by EuroGraphics to a great extent because the pieces have all different, weird and unusual shapes and sizes. There are some big pieces, some tiny pieces, and everything in between. The shapes are all very weird and fun too. But in this Modern Warplanes version they are all the same shape!! I almost didn't even start it, but after forcing myself to struggle a lot with the edge pieces that almost all looked the same color I finally settled down and got working on it. I really enjoyed it because it has very few white/blank pieces, so you have to really look at the pieces and match them up to the picture. I enjoyed it so much that I finished it in two days, and now give it a whole-hearted 5 star rating and highly recommend. Just get past the initial trudge of doing the edge pieces and then you'll really enjoy it. I wish the quality of the pieces was as good as that in the other two aforementioned puzzles. It would be nice if the cardboard they used in this one was more solid and with less powder. Enjoy!!

Great Puzzle for Enthusiasts
This is a great puzzle for warplane enthusiasts. It helps if you really care exactly who manufactured each plane and in what country. You will be looking at VERY small pieces with tiny clues of info (mostly writing and markings). This is not a puzzle of lots of empty pieces but you will need to look at small info matching text that repeats itself. Each piece has just enough info or color differentiation to be able to have a good idea where it might belong. It is for the detail oriented plane enthusiast and will lead to discussions of the planes when working together.

I loved the Modern Warplanes puzzle
I loved the Modern Warplanes puzzle. t has great graphics and the pieces fit well. I did the WWII Aircraft and both look great glued and framed on the wall. I don't normally do jigsaw puzzles, but I am an aviation enthusiast and scale modeler The Eurographics line pays attention to accuracy, detail and color of the aircraft depicted.
