These were a happy accident! I thought I had ordered A5 for my husband's use! However, when they arrived I realised they are perfect for designing cross-stitch and quilt patterns - a much better size for me than A5. I prefer hand designing as my imagination flows better than if using a computer. I will probably dismantle at least some of them for larger designs, but meantime, these have been great as books. The only problem to note is that felt tip pens tend to bleed through to the back of the pages, but since I only use one side anyway, that's not going to affect how I use them!

Good paper for fountain pen
Used for day notes for work. I used to use spiral bound, but that's hard to get in squared paper. I miss the spiral binding, but this lies flat to A3, making it easier to scan.

Squared rather than lined
Am trying to return these as they are squared paper rather than lined as stated on the front page of the description. Only when you click on the Product Description link does it say they are actually 5mm squared (which of course I didn't do!) Bit confusing. However, the exercise books are really nice quality.
