It has dogs frolicking playfully... how can it NOT be enjoyable?!
Let's begin with the quality of the puzzle itself. Ravensburger... the name says it all. This is a high-end quality puzzle with well-cut pieces that interlock together well and are of a decent thickness. The "large piece" design is awesome... I can't remember the last time I didn't have to use a magnifying glass to examine pieces (hey, my eyes are over a half-century old, gimme a break!). Because the pieces are large-sized, the completed puzzle ends up being about the same size as a normal 1000-piece puzzle, even though it has half the pieces. And the finished puzzle is fun to look at, with crisp clear colors and no peeling of the image film off the cardboard pieces or annoying "fuzz". And of course the picture itself is just a doggone fun theme. Now as for the task of assembling the puzzle... it might only have 500 pieces, but it was a little challenging (IMO); not to the point of frustration or where one would accuse it of being too difficult, but you certainly have a feeling of satisfaction after completing it. If I was to make a very rough estimate, I'd say it took 40% longer to put together than an average 500-piece puzzle. Challenge aside, it was an enjoyable puzzle to put together with a great theme. I hated dismantling it.

Fun puzzle

Will never buy anything but Ravensburger's Large Format Puzzles - THE BEST!
We love the Large Format Puzzles from Ravensburger. The quality is amazing and if you're an avid puzzler, I highly recommend this brand. Our family particularly likes the large format, especially my kids. I find these puzzles are a great way to stimulate our brains and enjoy it at the same time. It also gets my kids away from the electronics without much of a fight. The pieces connect smoothly and the back is fuzzy. Which makes them great to put together if you have a puzzle board. The only thing I would note is when you open the puzzle pieces for the first time, so it on a surface that is easy to clean. There will be very fine blue particles (from the backing) that may not be as easy to clean up on certain surfaces. However, its very easy to wipe up on a smooth hard surface.

Loved this puzzle!
My husband, 6 year old son and myself had so much fun with this puzzle. It is such a cute puzzle and especially fun if you love dogs. We also really liked the large pieces. Highly recommend.

Fun puzzle, not too hard!
I did this puzzle in about a few hours, which is exactly what I was looking for. Didn't time it exactly, but it was all in one night. The piece quality was very good (typical Ravensburger) although I did have one piece that was slightly damaged out of the box with a bent "nub". Not a huge deal, it still assembled easily, and unless you were looking for it, the damaged piece wasn't obvious in the completed puzzle.

Our first Ravensburger but not out last
High quality pieces, beautiful colors and so much fun to see it develop as you put it together. We are newer to puzzles and we found it not too hard but yet challenging. The pieces are durable and fit together well. Get it, you'll love it. Makes a great gift to pass on to your puzzling friends.

Great puzzle, had all pieces
This was such a fun puzzle! I have not done a puzzle in awhile so I wanted something a little easier to do, and this was perfect. It was easier because I could look to see where each dog went but challenging enough to still be worth the money and worth the time. Highly recommend for beginners or someone who just wants a relaxing puzzle that can be completed within a couple nights. Took me altogether about 5-6ish hours to complete but was also watching a TV show so it was not my full attention the nights I worked on it

Great for inexperienced puzzlers!
GREAT quality puzzle! 3 inexperienced puzzle doers worked on it at once and we managed to finish it in about 4 hours. Gorgeous picture and printing, nice thick puzzle pieces, and pieces only fit together if they were in the right spot so that made the experience better! Highly recommend!
