For 3 year old nephew
Purchased this and several add-on sets for my nephew. I enjoyed playing with them as much as he did! The whole system is brilliant. Teaches concepts of friction, gravity, velocity… The different environments and themes add creative play. Really, bravo to the inventors. This is an outstanding toy.

Great Addition to Your Track
such a fun addition, the curved tracks are a game changer. I know it says 3-7 but anyone in your house will love this, I can lose hours doing this and I am 26.

Essentiel pour compléter un starter set
Pour promouvoir la créativité il est essentiel d'avoir un à deux de ces kits en plus du starter set et des sets de décoration, ça permet de libérer l'imagination sans être bridé par le manque de pièces. Seul bémol, il manque encore de pièces hexagonales pour surélever le circuit, on ne peut pas utiliser toutes les pièces du circuit, il faudrait un kit spécial avec juste ces pièces. Là nous avons un starter set, deux extensions my tracks et deux sets de décoration, ce qui semble être un minimum pour imaginer des circuits personnalisés

As expected
This is an expansion set for the Jr version of the game - and is insufficient as a stand alone set. This expansion is PERFECT for extending the play of the Jr starter set. Our Jr builder (now age 4) was indifferent to all the characters of the other Jr extensions/beginner sets and seeking to just add more height and "tricks" to his starter set. This expansion set does that perfectly. We were also able to fit these additional pieces into our starter set box (the XL Jungle) so we only have 1 box still. We got the starter set last year, when our Jr was 3 and big-kid 7. Then, our 3yo could immediately help build, but could not build independently. Our then 7yo found this Jr set to be too easy, and within a day, out-built it. He would make the builds for his 3yo brother, at first. Over the course of the year, younger began building independently with the Jr set, and now at 4yo builds independently. The 7yo, now 8yo, received the regular Gravitrax as a gift. So we can now compare the Jr and regular versions. Once again, the 4yo can drop the marbles for the regular version, but cannot build on the regular version. The Jr version is very well-suited for the young beginner builders that the age level suggests. As a parent, the Jr version's recycled plastic pieces also feel much nicer; both in just the physical feel of the plastic and also in the sturdiness. This expansion is a perfect companion to any Jr starter set!

Chouette... Et un peu cher
Extension achetée pour les 4 ans de mon filleul. C'est beau et de bonne qualité. Facile à utiliser (avec accompagnement, vu son âge). Seul bémol : le prix.
