Awesome Gravitrax Starter Set!
Gravitrax is such a fun game for my kids (8 and 4 year old). It's quite mind stimulating for my 8 year old. She's able to follow the directions in the instruction packet that's included. It has maybe 10 or so beginning to advanced tracks we can follow step by step. It is too difficult for the 4 year to build, but he likes to put the marbles down once the tracks are complete. I really like how this promotes thinking and creativity to build whatever track we imagine up. Although the tracks my 8 year old comes up with are quite basic, I'm hoping it will give her confidence to try new things. I'm in my 30s and it's quite fun for me as well. This starter set provides a good foundation to get into the gravitrax system, but it looks like there are quite a lot more that can really expand the gravitrax world. Unfortunately it's not super budget friendly, but we're hoping to expand via birthdays and Christmas gifts. All parts out of the box were solid and unless you accidentally step on them (lesson learned), the parts are quite effective and work well.

Lots of play options
Just got this for grandsons7, 9 and 10. They were so engaged with it. It is pricey but it seems like a toy that can keep them interested for a long time.

Cool
Definitively cool toy with a ton of pieces and lots of potential for fun. However, I think a lot of kids aren't going to be patient enough to fully appreciate it. It's slower and more finicky and more of a puzzle than some people would want. It's easy to make something where the marbles fly off the track. It forces you to keep marbles rolling slowly, and it's a bit annoying dealing with height. You need it to start high so you have enough potential energy to do something cool, but then the track parts only have so much reach and allow so much drop per section, so you just need more and more tower stacks everywhere and run out of both towers and places to put your track because the existing towers are in the way. But if you work with the constraints and look at the whole thing as a puzzle, it is pretty cool and satisfying.

Big kids like the challenge.
This is a supplemental expansion of the big Gravitrax kit I got for the grandkids. They love it and have spent many hours working together on making the little silver balls twist and turn around the track. I got this so they could make bigger, longer configurations. The older kids like it and it's not always easy to find toys that appeal to that tricky adolescent age range. It gets them off screens and doing something mentally engaging. I'm all in for that.

Not again
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This presented well. Difficult to the point it’s unenjoyable. Does not fit back into box when done. I think the two times my grandson and I tried we spent more time trying to make fit back in box. Do not recommend this company or product. I find it infuriating for what it cost

Lernspielzeug, bietet viel Raum für Kreativität
Für unseren Sohn das beste Geburtstagsgeschenk schlichtweg. Es ist praktisch aufzubewahren, da man es (im Gegenzug zu Lego-Sets) immer wieder abbauen und in die Kiste packen kann. Es ist kinderleicht aufzubauen und bietet unendliche Möglichkeiten für Bahnen und kleine Experimente. Mein Sohn freut sich bei jedem Anlass über kleine Erweiterungssets, die wieder neue Spiel - Varianten ermöglichen. Die Teile sind zwar alle aus Plastik, aber durchaus robust und griffig. Es ist kein billiges Spielzeug, aber für uns so wie früher die Holzeisenbahnen ein Dauerbrenner. Außerdem lernt unser Sohn beim Spielen ganz nebenbei noch jede Menge über Konstruktion, Mechanik und Physik. Ich habe es tatsächlich auch schon für meine erste Klasse verwendet.

Possibilités très grandes, toujours hypnotisant de regarder descendre les billes ;)
On s'amuse en famille... mais c'est le papa qui construit ;) Un truc à comprendre : les pièces s'assemblent super bien entre elles (les piliers, les pièces sur le support en carton) mais certaines ont juste besoin d'être posées sur les autres.

Fijn om samen met uw kind te spelen. Het boekje dat bij de XXL versie zit, zijn de standaard routes en worden niet veel uitbreidingen gebruikt.

Simply the best
What a great introduction to Gravitrak and birthday gift for my 8 year old grandson. He was so excited and quickly had all items out of the box and after considering the instruction booklet then spent the next 2hrs assembling much of the marble run. Such a good gift with endless possibilities.
