Hat Spaß gemacht...
Ich fand das Puzzle super. Es war nicht zu einfach, aber auch nicht so schwer, dass man verzweifelt. Einige Gruppen lassen sich relativ gut aus den Teilen separieren und zusammenfügen. Auch bei den Zwischensektoren kann man immer wieder ein Anschlussteil finden, sodass es sich irgendwann mit dem Rest verbindet. Ich habe seit vielen Jahren wieder mal ein Puzzle zusammengesetzt und mir hat das Motiv richtig Spaß gemacht. Habe mir auch glatt gleich den Freizeitpark dieser Puzzlereihe gekauft.

Very entertaining!!!
I thought it was going to be harder to make, but it was quite entertaining find out that I was wrong and how attached it got me!!! Can't wait to make another one from the abandoned saga!!!

Sehr schönes Motiv
Ich liebe das Motiv, daher wollte ich es unbedingt machen. Die Qualität lässt zu wünschen übrig, sehr schlechte Stanzung, sehr viel Pulver. 2 Teile waren sogar so verknickt das ich aufpassen musste das sie nicht kaputt gehen.

Very original but dark and somewhat difficult
I preordered this puzzle that was released in the USA on March 1st and received it in a timely manner. When I opened the undamaged brown Amazon box, I discovered that the puzzle box was punctured and blue puzzle dust had seeped out under the plastic wrap covering the puzzle box. None of the puzzle pieces were damaged and were all still in the perforated plastic bag. I’m a huge fan of Ravensburger puzzles. The puzzle pieces are truly unique and most pieces contain subtle color clues of were they should be attached. They all have a lot of blue puzzle dust and do not come with a poster; you must use the box image as your only resource for putting them together. The pieces are nice and thick and it’s very obvious if the puzzle piece are meant to fit together. This puzzle was no different. The image of the “Forgotten Arcade” puzzle is literally and figuratively dark. The dark colors make it much more challenging. It maybe the lamp I’m currently using but I’m slightly disappointed with the image of the “Hydro Speed” arcade machine, which is the center piece of the puzzle. The seat and console of the race car arcade are so dark and it easily blends in with the surroundings under conventional lighting. If you absolutely love the image and are a somewhat experienced with 1000 piece puzzles, then definitely go for it! If you want something less challenging with a more brilliant brighter image, I would highly recommend starting with Ravensburger’s “Classic Games” or “Kitchen Cupboard,” which can be completed in about half the time. In my opinion, if you’re planning on framing them, both of these puzzles have a better display image.

Challenging and Nostalgic — A Standout in the Abandoned Series!
I really enjoyed the Ravensburger Deserted Department Store puzzle from the Abandoned Series. It has that classic Ravensburger quality — sturdy pieces, precise fit, and a low-glare matte finish that’s easy on the eyes. The image itself was nicely challenging but not overly dark like some others in the series, which made for a more pleasant build. There’s a surprising sense of nostalgia in the artwork — the details of the old store are both haunting and beautiful. As expected, there’s a bit of puzzle dust, but that’s pretty typical for Ravensburger and not a deal breaker. Overall, a rewarding and atmospheric puzzle that I’d happily recommend to fans of detailed or vintage-style scenes!

My favorite puzzle brand!
I love Ravensburger more than any other puzzle brand. The pieces are blue chip board. Thicker and more solid than most brands on the market. The older ones do not come with a picture inside but I’ve noticed on some of the newer ones there is a picture and bio for artist. It’s pretty small but bears having to use the box lid. I really wish they would put a larger foldout like Cobble Hill. Super convenient. The abandoned series has been one of my favorites. I was so tired of doing flowers and landscapes. Ravensburger has several unique series that are a great change from the average puzzle art. The pieces fit together very nicely. It holds together well. Color is true to picture. No exceedingly weird shapes. Fairly standard. Color schemes can be challenging which I like.
