Mixed Experience
This was by far the most difficult 1000 piece Ravensburger puzzle I’ve worked to date. Normally I give this puzzle brand 5 stars but oddly there are a few issues with this specific puzzle I don’t normally see. The colors are gorgeous and deep which seems to be the norm. The subject matter is fun and engaging. However…some of the pieces have peeling top layers which is uncharacteristic and the puzzle is bubbling up. It’s as if there’s a missing edge piece so the interior pieces are not fitting together with ease now that I’m down to two small corners to complete. I literally have coffee mugs keeping areas from buckling up. Never encountered this before. Edited to add: I had a couple of edge pieces interposed so solved the buckling problem. Still docking one star for some of the pieces having the top layers which separating from the base but a very enjoyable and challenging puzzle nonetheless.
