Works well in other DIY projects as well
I do not use this in a RC car so cannot comment on how it performs there. But I use it as a sort of a hinge on my headphone project. I have a bolt from headphone going to this giving a bit of a freedom and adjustability. Works well. The actual ball joint parts are not equally "sturdy". Some move better than others and some can come loose accidentally.
