There some really nice pieces of music in this book for beginner and intermediate players. The pieces don't sound like typical studies and my students are enjoying learning them.

Gently Up The Fretboard
I have just completed the study of "RGA 1" and bought this on the recommendation of my teacher. While the pieces are enjoyable to play they are rather obscure as far as a family audience is concerned. Musically the technical progression is gradual leading one gently up the fretboard.
