Great costume
This outfit was great, surprisingly well made. Ran a little big, but not bad. We bought it for an 1840's Victorian look. My daughter is a size 10, and had to cuff the top of the skirt (rather than hem it), but the top fit well. She can probably use this for years. The black skirt is great- I anticipate using it for other costumes in the future. The little bows on the top would be easy to swap out for another color if wanted.

Worked well for school project
The outfit is really cute. My daughter needed it for a living wax museum at school for people from the 1800s and it worked perfect. Looked a lot less cheap than some of the other costumes we looked at prior to buying this one. Top was too itchy for my daughter so you may want to put a shirt on under it. She wears a 14 and we bought the XL. The top fit but was made on the small side in my opinion, so if you’re in doubt, size up! I did based on reviews and was glad I did! She is a very tall 10 year old (almost 5’ tall) so the skirt wasn’t an issue for her but it was pretty long. It would be easy to roll up though if needed. 4 stars because it was a bit overpriced and the top was itchy and very snug.

Martha Wahington costume perfect for school functions.
The Martha Washington costume exceeded my expectations. My nine year old wore the costume for a social studies wax museum. The costume was true to size and we'll made. The fob that fit very well bad looked great with he costume. She wore a pair of old boots and a shawl with the costume which complimented it perfectly..

Amazingly perfect
After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about the skirt which turned out to be perfect, the right size in length and the waist was great. The top was a little big but nothing you can’t fix or just leave it as is. It really help because she was able to use an under shirt, here is really cold. All the details were perfect. My girl loved it so I’m satisfied.

Very cute and good quality for a costume but my daughter thought it was itchy so she won't wear it again. It served it's purpose at a school colonial dress-up day and I was happy with the purchase.

Did not realize the top is a dark navy blue with white pinstripe HOWEVER, this costume was fantastic for my little Pilgrim who chased a turkey mascot during a fundraising event. Worth the $40!

runs very big
I bought my daugher a medium as she is a size 10. The skirt had to be hemmed 4 inches as it was way too long. The shirt also ran big, but my daugher just wore a white shirt under the top. The quality of the fabric is very nice and the overall the costume is much nicer than I expected.

Great quality, generous sizing
Fantastic quality! The material was much heavier than most costumes I’ve ordered. The sizing is also very generous. I purchased the medium for my 9 year old daughter who wears a size 10 pant and the skirt is large in the waist and quite long but still manageable.
