Great body suit, okay to poor everything else
Just got the item today for halloween and I am REALLY impressed. I bought this for my boyfriend. He's shorter than the average male at 5'1 and it fit perfectly! We were both nervous about buying anything for him online (even more so when it's a costume) but thankfully it worked great. We got a large for him. The body suit itself is quality. Seeing that he is an adult, I thought it was more fitting to get a better mask, cape, and belt and we did buy separate gauntlets since a true Batman suit covers his hands as well. Another plus to this costume is that you don't need to buy boots. There are no black boots in kid's sizes that would look Batman enough. In the photo, it looks like the bottom is a legging but they're actually covers so you can wear whatever shoe you want underneath. It would probably look more legit with boots but it still looks good without it. If you're purchasing this for a child, it's perfect on it's own. For an adult male, upgrade the cowl, cape, belt (weakest part of the costume), and gauntlets so it's not so childish.

The Batman costume your son deserves
My son absolutely loves his costume. He's in this awkward between-the-sizes stage, so it's fairly large on him. But it is well crafted. He was wanting a costume with a full hood attached to the cape, and this is one of the only ones we've found so far that fits the bill. As a bonus, the mask and cape are separate from the costume, so he can wear them whenever he wants. He does find the velcro underneath the chin to be very distracting so we might find a different way to fasten it. He also loves the attention to detail with the "gloves". He's very impressed that they remembered the spikes. The only real downside to the costume is the belt. It is nothing like what is pictured at all. It is flimsy and discolored and warped. It's an easy replacement, though. We also aren't happy with how the back of the costume fastens. It needs a lot more velcro. Again, it's an easy fix, but a bit of a nuisance to have to do.

though the utility belt is not as nice as we were hoping
We just received this costume yesterday for my 4 1/2 year old son. It is now 8 a.m. and he is already wearing it again to watch some morning cartoons. He LOVES it. The costume seems well made, though the utility belt is not as nice as we were hoping, but this does not bother him at all. The mask is soft and got a little bent during shipping, but it seems like it should be able to be molded back. I was slightly concerned he wouldn't like the "muscle chest" in this costume, but it's soft and bendable as well and I think he likes how "big" he looks in it. Size is small 4-6 and the fit seems pretty good, I think it should fit him for at least a few months, if not into next Halloween. Overall, I love this costume because my son is so so happy wearing it!

Average Halloween Costume. Kid Loved It.
All little boys go through a superhero phase, so when my five year old wanted to be Batman (we're a DC household) I was happy to oblige. My only goal was to find a costume that wasn't too expensive and cheap looking because let's face it all Halloween costume are over priced for the quality they are made. So this Dark Knight Rises costume actually worked somewhat. The costume is basically a bodysuit. It's very thin, so you will need to wear clothes underneath. My son is always in the 90% for height, but usually I don't have to actually go a size up for costumes, it would have been beneficial if I had. He is 5 and at the time he was wearing size 5 shirts, but size 6 pants only because of his height. Therefore, finding the right undergarments, we live in the northeast where it is always cold on Halloween, was a challenge. The cape and cowl are one piece, which is nice, but the eyes are so small it's difficult to see out of. And to cut open wider would have completely destroyed the mask. So, if you have an older kid who is trick or treating on their own, I would advice against this, because they won't be able to see. It also didn't help that my son wears glasses. The mask was so tight that it was hard for him to wear his glasses underneath, the mask cut into his face without the glasses, and wearing them on the outside was impossible because no ears! Haha! Going back to the fabric being thin because my son couldn't see and because he was so excited that he kept running off, at one point he tripped and fell, which caused a significant tear in the pants. At the end of the day, this costume would never see the light of day again. He wore it for the school Halloween party and Trick or Treating. The utility belt was plastic in the front and polyester in the back to tie. The plastic was totally misshapen and its impossible to get to straighten back out. However, the $27-28 that I spent were worth it to me since my son had a blast and got to be Batman a couple times.

ONE VERY HAPPY BOY!!
I'v given this 5* as it made my son's day. I read the comments about the sizing issues before I bought it and I still decided to get it in a larger size as my son is big for his age, I'm not going to lie, when my son got it out of the packaging I thought it would be miles too big because it looks HUGE, but we carried on and got him in it and I was chuffed to bits with the fit, to be honest, the legs are slightly too long for him but that just means he can get extra wear out of it, as opposed to squeezing into a costume for all of one day. The costume comes with the mask that has the cape attached at it and a utility belt (the belt isn't fantastic, but it is to my son) If your child is small/average size I would defiantly recommend getting it in 1-2 sizes smaller but this is perfect for us and I'm so glad we got him it!!

Magnifique costume que gai déjà pu voir dans les magasins de locations. Prix intéressant pour ce produit de très bonne qualité. Taille très grand mais pas de soucis cat j avais suivie les commentaires allant dans ce sens. Prendre donc une taille en dessous me semble adapté.

Wir haben unser Kostüm gestern erhalten, der Versand war zügig und problemlos. Das Kostüm passt in Gr. S meinem (fast) 6 jährigen Sohn (Körpergröße: 120cm) gut, er hat noch ein wenig Platz. Praktisch ist, dass der Umhang an der Kopfbedeckung dran ist und man die Maske auch hochschieben kann und sie dennoch gut hält. Der Gürtel ist auch dabei, sieht cool aus. Mein Sohn findet das Kostüm toll. Ich bin auch zufrieden. Qualität wie erwartet, Kostüme sind nun mal aus dünnem Stoff gemacht. Aber die "Muskeln" und auch die Maske (samt Ohren) sind gut verarbeitet. Ich kann das Kostüm empfehlen.
