I was unsure about things like the size of the beads when I ordered these, so here's some info for you. Each bead is about 5/8" long, from bulb to tiny tip. The large end is about 3/8" in diameter. There's about 2 quarts of beads in all. The colors are roughly evenly distributed in the set that we got. When popped together, we got about 12 feet of each color, plus another 4 feet with the odds and ends... so it's about 76 feet of chain from putting them all together. Although there's a little variation (some connections tight; some a wee bit loose), there weren't any duds in the bunch.

Buyer beware
These beads look pretty but the holes are too large and the beads do not stay in place and come apart really easy, really disappointed in this product.

Great class project
Needed these in bulk for a class. Students make chromosomes with them and unpop beads to exchange with Another chromosome. Worked great and students saw what would happen.

Fantastic Fine Motor Practice
At first glance these beads are small and one may think too small and possibly too frustrating for preschool age children. Not so! My class of students age 3-5 years LOVED the challenge of popping them together. Even those that need extra help with fine motor skills were motivated not frustrated by these beads!

Looks good, but didn't work
This item was purchased as an activity for children such as making bracelets/necklaces to play with. While the pop beads did connect, they didn't hold or remain connected, which kind of defeats the purpose as a play activity for children. Sadly, I had to return it as it didn't serve it's desired function.

Kids love them!
Click in nice. Kindergarten kids love them! Another great way to make necklaces and bracelets over and over with those fine motor skills!
