Dollar store quality
This was incredibly disappointing to my 8 yr old who bought this with her own money - the plastic broke at a joint before it was even played with. It is very cheap plastic. Seller will not replace and is not backing product. Don’t buy.

Shot in the dark...
I didn't expect it to be a full sized go out and hunt an antelope (I don't actually hunt, but assume maybe one can use a bow/arrow to do such a thing?), bow, but it was still smaller than I expected. It was supposed to be (I thought) for an adult costume, but it's really for children especially since it had those little round rubber suction cups on the end of the arrows. Took some of the fun out of shooting my co-workers. That being said (the shooting part), the arrows did travel surprisingly far for the string being a little on the flimsy side. That in itself is why it deserves four stars. Had the arrows 'stuck' to a butt, I'd most certainly have given it five...

Poor construction - breaks easily
It looks cool but construction concept is awful. I got two and both broke almost instantly - one while being taken out of the packaging! The grip is one piece of plastic, but the parts that see the most stress from the string being pulled back are barely attached and break away from the grip with the slightest pressure. I reinforced it with duct tape and super glue and that seems to hold better for now. Only buy as a prop! If you actually want your kids to use it for fun, better get some duct tape.

Flimsy but served its purpose
We bought this for a Halloween costume for my 9 year old child. I would say the look of it is good, and she enjoyed trying to shoot the arrows but she wasn't that great at it, and the string had a little too much slack for her to do it easily. She lost the arrows while trick or treating, of course, and then the kids broke the bow a week later. Still, it did look great with her Katniss Everdeen costume, and nobody here was expecting a high-functioning weapon.
