Étui avec couleur pailletée très bel effet ! Bien secouer avant l’emploi ! A voir dans le temps pour leur longévité ! Après utilisation : la peinture fuit dans le bouchon. Le bouchon est très difficile à fermer !!! Suis un peu déçue.

As an artist time is of the essence, before I had, these, I could not get that metallic shimmer in an economic way to sell my paintings to the public. This is now the second package that I have ordered of these, and they are worth every penny to how fast they dry to how fast they can be quickly added to an image, but not only decreased my waist, but they also increased my productivity. And their last but not least very user-friendly. I like this brand a lot. I would give it a 10 out of 10.

Not user friendly, especially annoying as they are expensive.
These pens are very difficult to open. It is also difficult to get the ink into the brush. I find the brush does not hold ink for long enough.

Issues Mostly User Error!
I see a lot of comments about these being hard to use, ink not flowing, pens leaking, etc. I would say MOST of these are down to user error. First off, there's a black ring that keeps the ink from leaking or drying out before you receive the product. You have to unscrew the brush top, remove the black ring, and replace the brush top. Make sure you screw the brush ALL THE WAY back on and there's no gap between the brush top and the body of the pen because that's where it will likely leak! You have to really screw it on FIRMLY! It takes some effort to get it on that last bit of the way. Once you have it firmly screwed on, gently squeeze the body of the pen near where the body and cap join. You will see ink flowing into the bristles almost immediately. Continue squeezing slowly and gently with even pressure until as the ink flows into the brush. Hold it over something in case you squeeze too fast and ink squirts out. Once the bristles are completely saturated, the substance that keeps the bristles together for shipping will start to break down so you can use the brush pen. If the brush stays too firm you might have to rinse it briefly in water, but the ink alone should be enough once it's completely saturated with ink. As long as you follow these steps they should work fine for you. I also recommend storing them in a zipper bag if you want to take them with you just in case they do leak. It's unlikely they will if you follow these steps, but this is ink and will stain so it never hurts to be cautious. Personally, these colors are a bit too saturated for my taste, but they do layer over each other so you can tone them down by layering. I wish they had other ranges of colors and values so I could get some paler colors and more muted shades. But I do love how smooth and even the washes are and how well the brush tip works! I can get a variety of strokes with varying pressure. If they make more colors, I will definitely buy them!

They do not work
These pens took a bit to figure out. There were no directions. I could not get the ink to flow unless I squeezed the pen then ink went everywhere. Where they screw together is not secure and the did not have very much in in them. I would have to say Senneleir is usually quality products but not in this case.

Ink pens with a watercolor brush
The colors do not blend. Use it for ink art. It is not good for watercolor painting.
