Perfect Building Set for My 2½-Year-Old!
I bought this for my 2½-year-old, and it has quickly become a favorite toy in our house. The blocks are soft and squishy, which makes them completely safe for little hands—and little feet if they end up on the floor! My child loves the different textures and colors, especially the blocks filled with beads and stars. The pieces are easy to clean and store, and the castle theme has really sparked imaginative play. We build towers together, and my child uses the included characters to act out little stories. It’s been great for fine motor skills and creativity. The only thing to note is that because the blocks are soft, tall towers can wobble or bend, but that hasn’t taken away from the fun. Overall, this has been a wonderful purchase, and I’d definitely recommend it to any parent looking for a safe, sensory-friendly building set for a toddler.

Fun Blox for Toddlers
This is our first Jelly Blox set. They are super easy for a 2 year old to build with. The textures are great. They can be less sturdy, but the ease and fun of building are what we were going for. I do agree there is a smell, but it is not overpowering. I am sure it will fade with time.

These are awesome & washable
This item was released in Canada first, while the company was awful when it came to responding to my emails, I was happy they finally started carrying the product in the US. These are very popular with the kids, they fight for them all the time so I had to buy more

So Fun!
Great block set! Strong smell when you first open them, so I suggest opening them the night before playing. I soaked and cleaned mine with dish soap before leaving them out for 24 hours to dry and air out. The smell is very faint now and the baby LOVES them. Definitely suggest keeping the box for the little grassy scene with a path printed on it, and for a place to build and keep the blocks free from lint and hair as they are "jelly" and therefore lint/hair attractors.

Smells like gasoline??
Smells like gasoline. I have two other jelly blox sets and none of them have this issue. I washed them multiple times, it’s so strong your hands smell after holding them, even after a few days

Very Strong Petroleum Smell
I always love the arrival a good box of toys that can be stored in the accompanying box. The JELLYS are adorable and squishy. BUT . . they have a STRONG PETROLEUM SMELL that does not wash off. I have washed them and am airing them out, hoping the smell dissipates after a few days. (My tongue is tingling from the smell.) Personally, I would NOT give these to a child who will put them in the mouth. As far as building, they don't "snap" together, so they are wobbly, which an older preschooler might be frustrated by, but for younger, 2 or 3 year olds, they are easy to use and promote creative play. I suggest playing with these on a hard surface, as they will pick up carpet lint and lose their stickiness. Again though, they can be washed. The filled blocks are super fun and always the favorites.
