Great quality for plastic. These days plastic toys are hollow, thin, or cheap. This tea set is thick, sturdy, and high quality. On the plus side, its made of recycled material. I made the mistake of purchasing my 6 year old a porcelain tea set. it lasted about 8 months before she finally broke it. Bought this one as a replacement because it was the best looking plastic tea set available, in my opinion. The one thing I'll say is that the teapot sucks for waterplay. Anyone who knows basic physics knows that the waterline rises in the spout as well. Why in gods name they put the spout all the way at the bottom? no clue. But what this means is that no matter how much water you have in the tea pot you have water in the spout. The last tea pot she had, there was a little bit of room at the bottom before the spout began. This allowed her to have water in the tea pot and walk around with it a little without water coming out unless she intentionally tipped it over. with this one god forbid your child fill it up more than half way and walk around because it will spill everywhere.

Great quality!
This is such a fun set! We didn’t want to opt for glass because of breakability. This set is so fun. The kids (2, 4) love taking the lids on and off of the teapot and sugar bowl and pretending to serve tea. We’ve used these in the sensory bin filled with water and it’s so fun! They can pour the water and play with it in a whole new way. It is a little on the expensive side, but green toys is such great quality that I don’t mind paying a little more for their toys.

Don't waste your money on buying the really cutesy ceramic breakable tea sets. They are adorable but inevitably they will crack break shatter and can cause injury. It was exactly when I threw away my second set of ceramic tea playsets that I had to find something that would not break and this is it. I love that it comes in cute pink colors for my girly girls but isn't breakable and can withstand the 2-year-olds abuse. You can actually put this in the dishwasher on the top rack if you need to, although we have just hand cleaned it and it makes me feel better about them. Also using it for real drinks and snacks which they inevitably do. Love this and would absolutely buy it as a gift for somebody else as well

Great for little girls to play tea party. Not fancy or breakable but durable.
