Bought as part of a costume for a theatre show. Had to sew in gripping combs. Elastic relaxed over time, so needed more combs and grips. Every move resulted in it getting knotty and it shed a lot despite very careful combing. Like brushing chewing gum out of a toddler's hair. At least it didn't frizz up under the heat of the stage lights.
