Great, challenging puzzle!
I bought this for my daughter's family who staying with us over the holiday.It took her, her husband and two teenaged kids (all jigsaw puzzle addicts) four days to complete this great puzzle. Tough, frustrating but ultimately satisfying and prideful work! Cost me an extra $40, since I bet them they couldn't do it in five days.

Challenging puzzle for Christmas family time
We like to complete a family jigsaw puzzle during our Christmas vacations to bring the family together in an activity. This nutcracker puzzle is really challenging. The pieces are durable and fit well together. There wasn't any jigsaw "dust" that you sometimes see in cheaper puzzles. The colors were vibrant and the picture matched the cover of the box exactly. It's only 1000 pieces, but for some reason this puzzle seemed a bit more challenging than others we have completed. If you're up for a challenge, I'd recommend this one. We enjoyed the challenge!

Enjoyable holiday puzzle! Just wish it included a "bonus" poster.
Very enjoyable! Vibrant colors and print quality, challenging (but not frustrating), and no missing pieces. Pieces were good sized, uniquely shaped, and snapped together well. This was our first Springbok puzzle, and our only complaint is puzzle companies like this that don't include a "bonus" poster or additional print inside the box. Two (or more) people trying to share and squint over a single box lid is difficult!

Very hard
This was by far the Hardest puzzle I have ever done in all my years of doing puzzles. It has very odd pieces that come in all shapes and sizes...it was nearly impossible. I did finally complete it after more than a week of working on it daily. If you enjoy being super frustrated and want to pull your hair out.by all means you need this puzzle.. LOL it looks cool when all done but it's super challenging!

Family Time without Electronics
I gave this puzzle for Christmas with a family challenge. I also gave a puzzle board. They could not start until New Year's Eve at noon. Sent me a photo of puzzle unwrapped at noon. The first family to complete it won family money. Only first done could win. The others learned about family time! Everyone thanked me for a "special" gift! Wanted to know if I was doing it next year. They all completed the puzzle. Some had never completed a paper puzzle. Great challenge!

Missing Pieces
I bought this puzzle almost a year ago, but I had a stash of other puzzles to complete first, so today it was next in line. Well, after 2 hours and 2 sortings to complete the border, I knew this one was lacking. Sure enough, I counted up all the pieces...995 pieces! I'm so disappointed. I've contacted the company through email. Maybe they'll deal with a total replacement.

Great puzzle
Loved this puzzle - arrived quickly and was just as advertised - I had hoped by getting a 1000 piece it would take me a longer time, over the Christmas season, because the pieces are all small & unique... but I guess once I start a puzzle I just keep going. So I'm already doing it a second time.

Fun Puzzle
Fun puzzle to put together. Somewhat difficult but not enough that it wasn't enjoyable. Very colourful and very strong and sturdy pieces which stay together very well.

Our favourite Christmas puzzle
We do one 1000-piece puzzle every Christmas, and we thoroughly enjoyed this colorful rendition of nutcrackers, each with his own personality and occupation, from magicians to firefighters, to alpine hikers.
