Nicht als Brieföffner zu gebrauchen!
Toller Hingucker, aber leider zerfetzt er die Briefumschläge, anstatt sie sauber zu öffnen. Also nur was für die Vitrine.

fällt auseinander
Der Brieföffner fällt nach nicht einmal einem Jahr auseinander. Er wurde 2-3 mal die Woche normal gebraucht. Bereits zu Beginn war ein nicht fester Sitz der Klinge bemerkbar.

Habe das Produkt gekauft um einen neuen schicken Brieföffner auf Arbeit zu haben. Etwas teuer aber als großer Hobbitfan fand ich es noch ok. Jetzt kann ich sagen: Absolut ungerechtfertigt dieser Preis! Verpackung wirkte hochwertig, sah auch sonst gut aus auf den 1. Blick... mehr aber auch nicht. Nach nicht einmal 4 geöffneten Briefen löste sich die Klinge aus der Halterung, dann der kleine Knauf am Handgriff. Qualität die nicht vorhanden ist, deshalb nur so wenige Sterne. Schade, aber keine Kaufempfehlung für jemanden, der den Brieföffner wirklich auch nutzen möchte...

The Goblin Cleaver
Ok, so I'm a nerd. But if you're gonna have a letter opener, it might as well be cool. This is a great miniature replica of Orcrist, so if you're a LOTR nerd, you'll love it. It's not sharp at all, and so there's little danger of injury. The consequence is you have to do a little work to open that letter. But it works well, and looks great. The case is nice, but the plastic window is kind of cheap, and mine arrived cracked. But this is cool enough to overcome that minor detail.

Great Letter opener
I ordered this product not knowing what to expect, but when it arrived I was very impressed and pleased with it. It comes in a small wooden box with a plastic screen so you may see the letter opener. The sword/Letter opener it very good quality with great attention to detail, the hilt part of the sword is very detailed with the inscriptions on the guard of the sword, Overall it is a fantastic product and will please any Hobbit Fan!
