Gelungener Bausatz für einen kleinen Preis.
Der Tamiya-Bausatz hat zwar schon einige Jährchen auf dem Buckel, ist aber immer noch top! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend, da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Die Pak stellt den Modellbauer kaum vor Probleme, auch die 4 Mann Geschützbedienung sind schnell gebaut und bemalt. Einziges kleines Manko: derjenige Soldat, der sich geduckt zum Geschütz vorarbeitet und dabei einen Munitionskasten zieht, greift praktisch ins Leere. Hier wäre ein Griff am Munitionskasten wünschenswert, auch wenn es dann schon sehr ins Detail geht. Ob dies einem Betrachter des Bausatzes auffällt, sei dahingestellt. Insgesamt jedoch ein schöner Bausatz, der auch immer für ein Diorama gut ist.

Oldie but Goldie
Zunächst: Es ist ein Uralt-Modell! Das heisst allerdings nicht, dass es schlecht ist. Ich kenne im Vergleich nur die PAK 35/36 von Dragon, gute 20 Jahre jünger, zum Vergleich. Die ist zwar wesentlich teuerer, aber nicht besser. Hab' dieses Tamiya-Modell auch häufiger gebaut, in meiner Jugend kostete sie gerade mal DM 5 ... Aber was ich bis heute nicht begreifen kann: der Munitionskasten ist voll, der Ladeschütze hat aber eine Granate in der Hand. Das bedeutet mindestens eine Bohrung am offenen Munitionskasten! Die Figuren: Naja, Schütze und Ladeschütze kann man so positionieren, das man die Gesichter nicht so gut sehen kann., beim Geschützführer macht das sein Prismenglas. Ihre Ausrüstung sollte man modernisieren, die alte ist - na sagen wir mal - etwas grob. Aber auch die hat Tamiya für wenig Geld im Handel, die meisten werden so etwas eh in ihrer "Grabbelkiste" haben... Dafür haben aber alle etwas, das die anderen Hersteller grundsätzlich vergessen: Die Gasschutzplane! Diese hatte 1939/40 jeder deutsche Soldat wie die Gasmaske mit sich zu führen ... Ach, was ich fast vergessen habe: Die Szene wurde einem PK-Photo aus dem Spätherbst 1939 an der saarrländisch-französischen Grenze nachempfunden, daher sind diese Gasschutzplanen ein absolutes Muss!

Tamiya- einfach super!
Ein Tamiya typisch erstklassiger Bausatz! Man kann als Modellbauer für unschlagbar kleines Geld viel Freude haben. Die Pak steht mittlerweile in einem Diorama und erfreut durch tolle Details!

One of the best early Tamiya kits!
If you read online reviews or builds of older Tamiya kits like this you will see cutesy words like "ancient" or "prehistoric applied to them. The people saying this will generally go on to say they have the xxxxxx brand and it is much better and that this old decrepit dog needs to be tossed aside. IGNORE that. The truth is many of the earliest Tamiya Military miniatures can be built into good looking models. Some will require more work than others, and some may require some aftermarket help. All of them can be built into exactly what they are described as. The level of detail and accuracy is up to you. That's the beauty of the older tamiya kits! You can build one from the box in a weekend or venture off into a long labour intensive build. The choice is yours. With this kit you get one of Tamiya's best early kits. The detail is mostly all there and is crisply and nicely done. The parts are as to scale as molding technology will allow and there are few seams or injector pin marks. There are no sinkholes in my example. The kit contains the basic Pak gun and crew plus optional parts. The parts permit you to mount the Pak gun to Tamiya's Sdkfz 251/1 HANOMAG half track thereby converting it into a Sdkfz 251/10. Also included is what is called a "stick bomb" attachment for the barrel. This was a HEAT warhead added to make up for the gun's 37mm round which was not effective in the latter stages of the gun's service history. there are no decals, metal, or clear parts in the kit. As I said this is one of Tamiya's best early offerings (the copyright date is 1974) and can be built into a good model straight from the box. Those wishing to refine it further will find photo etched sets are on the market for it as well. I recommend this kit to anyone interested in building 1/35 scale subjects!
