Schöner Bauspaß
Schöner Bausatz zu einem günstigen Preis. Wenn man sich an die gute Bauanleitung hält, hat man viel Spaß beim Zusammenbau, allerdings wäre es schöner, wenn Tamiya auf die billigen Kunststoff-Kugellager verzichten und direkt die bessere Metallvariante liefern Ich habe mir die Metalllager im Zubehörhandel besorgt. Wenn man eine Lexankarosserie noch nie lackiert hat, sollte man sich etwas Zeit dafür nehmen, vor allem für das Maskieren.

Schönes Modell, tolle Qualität
Wie von Tamiya gewohnt ein sehr gut gefertigtes Modell mit passgenauen Teilen. Hat viel Spaß gemacht es aufzubauen, das fertige Modell ist recht stabil und macht super spaß zu fahren.

Tolles Chassis...
...ich muß gestehen, die Karosserie habe ich direkt verkauft, da ich eine GR Yaris Karo darauf verbauen möchte... Aber in das Chassis habe ich mich direkt verliebt, einzig die Dämpfer sollte man sofort durch 55mm Öldämpfer ersetzen und so abstimmen, das er satt liegt. Dann macht es einfach Spaß, damit zu fahren. Ich habe das Chassis außerdem noch mit einem Fahrwerksupgrade von Yeah Raceing versehen, damit fährt es sich, für mein empfinden, wirklich traumhaft! Dazu kamen noch ein paar HopUp Teile von Tamiya, darunter auch ein hightorque servosaver, der das lenkverhalten und vor allem die Spurtreue angenehm verbessert.

Mega Teil
Aufbau machte richtig Spaß und die Fahrt danach war noch besser. Hab nur die Originalreifen durch etwas größere ausgetauscht. Das Chassis bietet eine gute Mischung aus On-Road und Geländegängigkeit. Die lange Version mit 239mm Radabstand bietet es auch die Möglich zahlreiche andere Fahrzeugkarosserien zu nutzen. Praktisch, dass das beiliegende Steuergerät auch Brushless-Motoren regeln kann. Da ist ein späterer Austausch gut möglich. Auch die Umrüstung auf LiPo ist damit wohl machbar. Werde bei Zeiten noch einige Anbauteile austauschen. Aber für den Anfang ist es schon super.

Sono felice di averlo acquistato .era da molti anni che non che non costruivo rc cars e in poco tempo sono riuscito in un semplice progetto 4wd (non è x estremi ) ti diverti con un giusto costo

Cuidado con la estafa
Después de unos meses con mudanzas consigo tiempo para montar el kit. Cuando abro la caja el esc variador viene con instrucciones de Carson, es un Carson no viene con el tamiya TBLE-02S. Este no acepta motores brushless y se ve bastante inferior. Ya solo la marca no da confianza Carson en un tamiya??

Fantastic kit well made and runs well steerings a tad funny . The std suspension is simple non oil filled dampers but in found it works better than most of its type. It a a very fun car to drive and with std rally size wheels and tyres it performs well off road. Really enjoying this .

Awesome build, tons of fun to drive
This is my second Tamiya kit build, and it sure was a ton of fun. The instructions were perfectly clear and easy to follow - just take note of which body configuration the car uses! I used a highlighter to mark parts of the build that were specific to the Beetle's frame size so that I wouldn't mess up as I went along. I loved the look of the beetle on the box, so I decided to do all of the painting and decals 100% by the book using Tamiya polycarbonate paints. The black hood with the matte finish is exceptional looking, as are the "chrome" plastic bumpers and mirrors. I like the look of the long antenna, and for better visibility I added a little construction flag. The provided motor is pretty ordinary and doesn't have a ton of power, but I'm not generally going 100% speed off road so this is not really a big deal for me. I also find that it has a satisfyingly "authentic" high pitched sound, not unlike a real vintage Beetle. It's fun on the road, but the real joy is cruising around on gravel or on a grassy beach like in my attached photo. This car doesn't have a ton of lift, so it's relatively easy to high-center on rocky terrain. This just adds to the challenge! It is a 4wd vehicle and comes with grippy tires, and it performs markedly better than my 2wd rear-wheel Tamiya Subaru Brat on slick surfaces. After a long day of playing, I will tune the car up by tightening anything loose, shaking dirt and rocks out of the chassis, and washing the body gently with water. I use a dry paintbrush and canned air to loosen stubborn dirt in the chassis. With care, I have no doubt this car will last a long time. My kit did come with an ESC, but if this is your first build you will need tools, batteries, and RC radio/receiver. If you've been wanting to build a hobby RC kit, this would be a great pick.
