Excellent Material and Workmanship -- If You are a Munchkin!
The style, workmanship, and materials were excellent for the price! The pictures on the web page accurately reflected this. The only thing missing was information on the size... ...which turned out to be rather small. The maximum circumference these "boot covers" will handle is sixteen inches (16"). The only "size info" given is the line, "Size: 3X-Small-X-Large Women/Small-XX-Large Men" -- accompanied by a sentence that says, "This boots covers [sic] is one size with adjustable lace, fits most adults or young men or women." With the "adjustable lace" completely removed, I still lacked an inch (1") of getting the snaps to close! And sixteen inches (16") is laughable; my *ARMS* are bigger than that -- and I am by no means a large guy. "Double X Large Men"? Not even close... I would suggest that you do NOT buy these unless your calves are fourteen inches (14") or smaller! To be fair, there was a warning on the page that this is a "Frequently returned item" -- but that warning did not give the reason. I was expecting maybe poor materials or workmanship. Yes, I looked at the Reviews. As I always do, I went straight for the "One Star" (*) reviews. According to the percentage graph, at six percent (6%) one-star (*) reviews out of forty (40) reviews total, there should have been at least two (2), maybe three (3) of these; my search returned none (0)! Only two (2) two star (**) reviews came up -- both mentioned unexpectedly small size... Because it's not worth my time and effort to write a review that will never be seen, I am making mine a three star review (***) in the hope it will be more likely to survive the filtering process than a two star (**) review. Despite the two (2) size-related reviews, I ordered because these were the only decent looking "legging" that might arrive in the time-frame I needed. I thought the order worth the gamble. Now, I get to return them... Unused... After I re-lace the one I un-laced in a last ditch attempt to get it to fit...

These were purchased for a pirate costume because I didn’t want to buy boots. They are good quality and were perfect for my costume. I liked how they fit and the quality of the material they are made of.

Good Quality But...
I'm a smaller sized woman and these were snug on my calves (calfs?). I had to try to tuck away the ties so I wouldn't step on them. Kept my legs warm though.

I have been struggling to find shoes to finish off a costume for awhile now. These perfectly fit the bill, I get the overall look I want, but I am able to wear comfy shoes while in costume! They were easy to adjust to my size and once they are tied properly you can remove them much more easily.
