Great children's research book
This is a fantastic quality book Published by DK with the metropolitan museum of art This series of books explores a number of different artists, this book being about Vincent van Gogh. It explores his life, from when he was sent to a boarding school at age 11 to working as a art dealer. The book also explores how his life impacted his art work. Although this book is aimed at children it is very informative and both children and adults will learn a lot from this book. At the back of the book is a timeline showing some of van Gogh important paintings, then there is an drawing activity based on the style of van gohn. Brilliant illustrated throughout making it very appealing to read. This is top quality book and I will definitely be purchasing the other books in the series. Every school library should have a copy of this book Would highly recommend
