Fantastic gift idea for kids
I bought this for one of my younger kids and her older siblings actually started taking it out and playing with it and now they all fight over this set. Super good time. At least I know it was worth the purchase. Durable, hard plastic and wood pieces. They aren't cheaply made. Unless you have a lovely dog who thinks these are for him/her (wooden wheels- YES says my dog. Thank you, says my dog.) , they should last for ages. If you're going to a birthday party or need a reward gift or something, in a time where our kids are only thinking of video games and apps etc. this is such a great alternative. Using fine motor skills is crucial and this upcoming generation will not have nearly as much time spent developing those skills. Get these tinker toys. Encourage them to build and stack and get creative. It's so worth it.

A good construction toy for many ages.
Came in good time. But not the nostalgic Tinkertoy of old. The wheels and joining pieces are still made out of wood, but the rest is now made of plastic. So sad. But my grandson won't know the comparison, so he'll probably get lots of fun out of it. It is a Christmas present, so I haven't taken it out of the bag yet, but it looks okay.
