Great model train for beginners
The media could not be loaded. My 11-year-old son recently got into model trains. That's all he asked for this year for Christmas. I got this set as a base and we added tracks and other Bachmann cars. First off, this set is quick. I expected it to be a little slower because it's made for kids, but I don't think it is. Second, it's still new but the cars glide over the track (both included and purchased separately) smoothly. Every once in awhile, you might need to readjust the car back on the track. Third, it's just plain fun. But you definitely want to consider adding a couple of track pieces. Right out of the box, it only goes in a small circle. We added a couple of straight pieces and some curves when we moved it down to the basement and it's a much bigger track. We've had so much fun with this model train set. This is a great starter set for a younger child looking to get into model railroading. It's more affordable than purchasing tracks, controller, and cars individually, it's easy to use, and it's Thomas. Who doesn't love Thomas?

Nice but not worth $120
I bought this for my nephews in 2018 for $90 and again for another nephew in 2024 for $120. They love it but not worth that price increase!!

Fun for all ages!
The media could not be loaded. My son and I have had a good time playing with this set. He is almost two years old and can use the speed controller with ease. We absolutely love this set. It comes with Thomas (featuring moving eyes!) and his passenger cars Annie and Clarabel. The EZ track can be easily assembled and disassembled in a couple of minutes. The track is a circle track which is kinda boring in my opinion. My advice is to buy some extra HO scale EZ track when you purchase this item for some extra fun. The train has not derailed once without reason. Excellent quality for such a good price! Totally looking forward to expanding this set with more tracks, engines, train cars, and scenery.

Great Train to put under the tree!
I am very satisfied with this seller! Package arrived very quickly. We originally purchased this train in 2002 and was surprised it lasted 8 years. It has been underneath the Christmas tree every year since. Unfortunately, electronics do not last forever when stored. I am pleased to find the exact train for such a great price. My 3 kids enjoy building bridges and houses out of legos, blocks, and presents while patiently awaiting the big day. I would recommend an adult put the train carefully together as the pieces are a bit fragile. But once it's assembled, kids will love running it and letting their imagination grow!

Two tracks aren't working
The media could not be loaded. It's beautiful! Moves great, easy to put together, but I think I may have gotten two defective track pieces because it stops on those two specific pieces no matter where I put it in the layout.

Great Starter Train Set to Share with Grandson!
I bought this Bachman HO Thomas with Annie and Clarabel train set to enjoy with my 3 year old grandson. Delivery was on time and everything has worked as advertised. I really enjoy the E-Z HO track!! Much easier to use than the old style used 20 years ago. We can set it up anywhere without having to fasten it to a base board. I'm already in process with purchasing more track to expand the set up. . .

The media could not be loaded. Mi hijo lo cuida muchísimo tiene una semana con el, y simplemente el tren está muy gastado, estoy muy inconforme y mi hijo triste del mal estado del tren, y no es un juguete económico, no nos esperábamos eso.
