I love these kind of 3d puzzles!
I love to do this kind of 3d wooden puzzles. I got this for my grandson, but these are a bit advanced for him, so, I should say: I got this train 3d wooden puzzle for me to do, and then to give to my grandson. lol. I got it put together after working on it on and off for 2 days. So, it probably took me about 4 or 5 hours total. Lots of teeny parts. Just like all of these kinds of puzzles, some parts do get broken, but are easily glued together. Also, they did provide a few extra pieces here and there, which was helpful. What was really cool is instead of having a map with where all the parts are, this one actually numbers them either on the part, or next to the part. This made it a lot easier. I usually have to do that by hand with other puzzles I have done. The instructions are all picture only, but detailed enough to figure out how to put it together. I also want to say, I saw some of the reviews on this product that were negative. To me, those people must be unfamiliar with this kind of puzzle. This one is not bad quality at all. It is exactly what the description said. I do many of these and this one is better quality than most. Anyone doing these knows they are not easy to put together and usually end up needing a little glue. If you are expecting this to be a train that right out of the box is a "1, 2, 3" go kind, it isn't. It is a PUZZLE! I love it! I will recommend to family and friends!

Cute and fun
I am not a kid but I love models like this. They are fun, challenging, and creative. Who doesn't enjoy all of those things? I was a bit disappointed in the thickness of the wood. But the quality of the pieces, ease of assembly, and instruction quality were good. Having assembled several other wood model kits in the past, I guess I was expecting thicker pieces. But when I realized the overall size of the model, it made perfect sense that the wood would be thinner. If it was any thicker, the balance would have suffered. This would make a wonderful gift, especially if gifted with a team effort in mind, between a parent and their child. I have no more children at home so I am building it by myself. But if I had one still here, we would be doing it together. Lots of talking, lots of assembling, lots of fun!

Condition and quality
It came well packed and when I started to build it, it was easy to read the instructions and was very detailed. The quality was great and it held the structure unlike other models that I've built in the past. Overall the instructions and the model itself are amazing and I would definitely recommend people who like building models or trains should buy this 100%.
