Great starter set to get into slot cars
Carrera GO! is an excellent first product for kids to get into "real" slot cars. My son is 6 almost 7, and we have had an absolute blast with this starter set. The cars work great and consistently. Carrera is a high-quality product, and this set lives up to their standards.

Poor quality.
Cars won’t stay on the track. Cars jump the track when higher speed is used. Cars do not have good contact with the track. Had to remove the hill tracks as the cars won’t go up the curve.poor quality for the price.

I like it cause it was easy for him to put together, I like cause he learns how to control the speed I like it cause it built good and works really good

Great gift
Got this for my son to see if he would get into it. He loves it. Cars stay on track as long as you don’t mash the trigger down or use the boost. A great gift.

Don't recommend
This never worked right from day 1. The one car wouldn't make contact. We could get it working after a few minutes but it was such a hassle and then day 3 it quit working period. My husband wouldn't take it apart to return it because it was too much work supposedly and he was going to try and fix it but months later it never got fixed so it was placed in our spare walk in closet where it has remained. Extended warranty plan hasn't done us good either.
